Winter Scenes - Timeless Tuesday 247

Happy Tuesday everyone and welcome back to another Timeless Tuesday challenge! I am happy to be this weeks hostess to bring you a great challenge with many options!

My challenge will give you much versatility in how you want to execute your creation in terms of your idea of what a winter scene consists.  Here is my scene:

I started with some Flourishes Classic White cardstock to stamp the scene onto and for the base of the card.  I masked the main focal image so that I could add the trees to the background.  Using the hourglass Perfectly Pierced Die set, I cut out the image. While the image was still in the die, I sponged in the sky using Distress Inks in Faded Jeans, Weathered Wood, and a touch of Tattered Rose.  Also used was a hint of some Memento inks in Dandelion and Lulu Lavender.  For the stars, I stamped those using some Encore Metallic ink in Silver and I completed the scene using some Copic Opaque white for some drops of snow.  The patterned paper is Basic Grey's 25th and Pine collection which was laid using the recent Sweet Sunday Sketch.

I popped the image up over the paper and stamped the sentiment directly onto the strip using some Memento ink in both Rhubarb Stalk and Nautical Blue.  The card was finished with some green silk ribbon and some thin navy blue ribbon topped with a white button and twine.

Join us for some fun creating and your chance to win! Before you run off to make a beautiful creation, be sure to check out the other beautiful creations by our Timeless Tuesday Team! Can't wait to see what you all come up with!!

    1. We did it again--used the same image and even the same sentiment! I LOVE the way you sponged the nighttime sky. All those different colors really makes a difference. And, the dark red and blues with that strip of kraft is beautiful. An awesome card!
