The Cat's Pajamas Stamps March Release and Blog Hop

It's here!! Release day and Blog Hop for The Cat's Pajamas Stamps. If you arrived here from the talented Rebekah, you are in the right place.  If not, start here! I am sure you have all had a chance to peek at the wonderful creations the Cat Pack have done for the week and now is your chance to grab your list and get shopping!

For today's release, I am sharing with you the new Travel Stickers stamp set which I thought I would take a crack at creating a postcard using these fun "stickers."  I always love a postcard and I realized that making them was just as fun.

I started with using some Kraft card stock as my postcard and thought about layering either side or both to give it a cleaner look if you will.  But I really like the rustic feel and look of the card stock that I left it as it.  Using my distress inks in Pumice Stone and Tea Dye to stamp the different images on the outside. I added the cut out from the Rectangular Stamp die to frame one of the stickers and added the 'Post' word from the Mailbox die. For the backside, I used a stamp set I have with the address lines and added a few more images around.  You can't really see the bottom right image, but it's there! :)

For my second card, I am using the ever so cute set of For Fox Sake and the new Mailbox die set to create this little love letter to be sent.

I know I have mentioned it before, but this stamp set along with the Year of the Pig are really just so adorable that it has to be on your must have list.  I cut out the mailbox with the die set and added the cute little mouse from the this set to the bottom.  He is colored in with Copics and I completed the scene with the sentiment, clouds, and heart to the top of the mailbox.  I felt a little sparkle was needed that I added a few silver sequins.  Because we all need a little sparkle in our lives...

Thanks for hopping by and be sure head over to Alma's blog for more crafty creations and inspiration from the Cat Pack guru herself!

Sneaky Peek Day 6 - The Cat's Pajamas Stamps

It is Sneaky Peek day 6 with The Cat's Pajamas Stamps! Today the focus is on the Flower Die Duo Cut Ups.  This is such a fun die with many possible ideas.

For my card, I have used this die along with the new release set of For Fox Sake which is cuteness overload! The Year of the Pig and For Fox Sake is just so stinking adorable this month.

I love a lot of white space (if you couldn't tell from my past cards) and this was a perfect die to add a pop of color from behind using some fun Spring papers from Doodlebug & Co. and the little fox watering these flowers.  The sentiment is also a perfect fit for the die and image.  I finished the card with some new release Holographic Green Holeless Sequins.  Eeep! More fun sequins!! If you haven't peeked at the other set of sequins coming out, be sure to head to the TCP Blog to see them!

You're A Good Egg - Your Next Stamp

Happy Sunday everyone!

I hope you are able to enjoy a nice weekend, hopefully bringing you all some warmth.  We are finally able to get a little Spring weather today which is a nice change to the cold we continue to have.  I am looking forward to continued sun and warmth -if it ever gets here! :)

Today I am sharing with you a card made from the new set  of Egg Hunt.  Isn't it adorable? I love the sentiments it comes with and this one I used is just something I could see myself saying. Hahaha!

This is a CAS card to focus on the image and the "good egg" that he is giving.  The image was colored in with Copics and cut out with the coordinating die set.  Using the YNS paper collection of Happy Spring, I created the road using the jelly bean pattern paper and finished the card with the Stitched Puffy Clouds die.

We hope you have been able to check out all the fun projects over the last few weeks since the release to see all the additional projects the team has put together.  Check out the YNS Blog to get a glimpse of them all if you have missed any portion of the posts.  Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great Sunday!

Pairing with the new Rectangular Stamp die, I created a "pool" with the frame of the die and added the floating pig on top with some foam tape. The water was created using some Distress Stain and the look finished with some of the new fun TCP Shaker Sequins.  You will noticed the fun envie to match the card which was created with the same set and look. Fun Friday Challenge - Your Next Stamp

Happy Friday!

Today is a new challenge over on the Your Next Stamp blog and this is one that requires the use of something everyone has in their crafty stash - Patterned Paper! This is a great time to use your scraps or layer a few together within the same collection, or just mish mash a few different ones you have.

For my card, I am using a few pieces of patterned paper from the YNS Watermelon Party paper collection to create the background and one of my favorite mini sets the store carries - 'Tini Sips.

I used the YNS Stitched Rectangle dies to cut out the patterned paper and the YNS Stitched Ovals die for the top layer.  The image was stamped and colored with Copics before being cut out using the coordinated dies and popping it up over the oval panel.  To make it more of a birthday card, I used the YNS Mini Balloon trio die set to attach it to the martini glass and fishtailed the sentiment to complete the card.

Your Next Stamp March New Release

It has arrived!! The March new release for Your Next Stamp. Time to get your list out to purchase all the fun sets and dies you had your eye on and do a little blog hopping to see all the awesome creations.

Today I am sharing with you a card using the new, super cute set of Tree-mendously Cute Critters. How darling are these little guys?

I just love the sentiment in this set that you can make with a few different lines.  I know a few people this card would work for and I just love giving them a hard time.  :)  The background was made using some retired YNS paper called The Woodlands.  The images were stamped and colored in with Copics and cut out using the coordinating die set.  I popped up the images and stamped the sentiment directly onto the panel.  The card was finished with a few gumdrops from both the Nautical Matte and Spring Grass matte gumdrops.

As always, Karen is generous in offering you all a great sale during the releases.  For this release, she is offering 20% off your ENTIRE purchase!!

Be sure to keep hopping along and leave a little love along the way for your chance to win!

Your Next Stamp March New Release Sneak Peek

Hey hey hey!  It's that time to get a peek of Your Next Stamp's new release for March.  There is some serious cuteness happening with this release that you don't want to miss taking notes as you see all the fab projects from the DT.

The card I made is a unique size of 5x3.  No reason, just thought it was a fun size to make a card with and it went well with the new set I used called So Ewe-nique.

Using the YNS Happy Spring paper collection for the background, I layered over a die cut of the YNS Stick Frames die set.  The image was colored in with Copics and cut out using the coordinating die set and popped up over the frame.  The sentiment was stamped and also popped up over the patterned paper and the card with finished with some of the new YNS gumdrops.

Be sure to stop over on the YNS Blog to see all the fabulous creations the DT have made and be sure to check back tomorrow to see the full release.  Be sure to have your pen and paper ready!  Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great day!

TCPTUES355 - Decorate An Envelope

Happy Tuesday everyone!

It's a new challenge over on the TCP blog and it's a fun one - decorate an envelope.  I don't know about you, but I don't do that very often, even though I have plans to do that when I create.  But it doesn't always come to fruition due to time or forgetting.  More like the latter... hahaha!

For this challenge, I made a card inspired by Jennifer McGuire's card she made recently here.  I decided to mix the TCP Sunflower Rosette die with the leaves from Sketchy Flowers.  The envelope matches using the same concept except I used the stems and butterfly from the stamp set to decorate the envelope further for the address spot.

While the card has some dimension, the envelope flower is kept flat and with a smaller rhinestone.  We hope you come play along and link up your creation over on the TCP Blog for your chance to win! In the meantime, don't forget to check out the TCP Blog to see what all the other Kitties have done with this challenge.  You won't be disappointed! We have some new additions to the Cat Pack, so if you haven't already seen who, click on over!! Make a great one.
