Laughter is the Best Medicine - Your Next Stamp

Happy Friday crafty friends!
I hope you all have had a great week or relaxing one if it's Spring break for your family. Today starts the final week in the Your Next Stamp challenge and if you haven't already checked it out, it's  a good one! The color inspiration is beautiful and the sketch is super fun.

For my card, I am using the new release of Call the Doctor and the coordinating die set.

The background patterned paper is from EP's All About My Boy collection while the images were colored with Copics and cut out with the dies. The YNS Stitched square dies were used to outline the patterned paper panel before being popped up.  The sentiment was stamped directly onto the middle strip before being finished with some Mermaid gumdrops and the heartbeat die cut out that is included in the Call the DR die set.

Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog to see the other fun creations the DT has put together and for all the details on how you can play along and have a chance to win! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!!

Egg on my Face - TCPTUES309

Have you played along in TCTUES310?  It is all about Bunnies and the Cat Pack have not disappointed in some great creations to help get your mojo flowing.

For my card, I am using the set of Bunny Side Up. This little guy is super cute and I couldn't resist doing a little water coloring for the egg to be paper pieced over while using my Copic Airbrush System to create the background.

The die set of Country Fair was used for the frame before the image and sun were popped up over it.  The sentiment was stamped and fishtailed to also be popped up to create this CAS look.

We sure hope you stop by the TCP Blog to see all the beautiful creations some of the Kitty Cat's have made.  Don't forget to link up your project if you play along on the TCP Blog InLinkz.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Bon Voyage - YNS Feature Day

Hello crafty friends!

Today is Feature Day with Your Next Stamp and the DT has put together some wonderful creations using the theme of Spring.  I know I would like to see Spring soon! It has still been pretty chilly here and I am so ready for a little warmth.

For my card, I am using Vacation Phoebe to describe Spring.  With Spring break here, I have vacations on my mind and this set is perfect for those dreams.

I used the YNS square stitched layered die set for the main panel which was airbrushed using Copics for the background.  The coordinating die set was used with the images to be be popped up over the background.  Copics were used to color in the images and the sentiment stamped directly onto the base.

Thanks for popping in to take a peek and be sure to stop by the YNS Blog to leave a comment for your chance to win a stamp set of your choice!  Have a great day!

Did you get a chance to see the newest release with YNS? Wasn't it fun and made you ready for vacation? Or just warm weather? I took the chance to use the newest sketch  along with the new set of Vacation Phoebe to create this view of the island.

Phoebe and the pineapple were stamped, colored with Copics, and cut out using the coordinating die set.  The background island scene was stamped using the new Island Silhouette stamp set before I added some cut out of "sand".  The new fancy Aloha die was used for the sentiment and the card was finished with some yummy gumdrops.

Brave - Your Next Stamp DT Dare

Hello!
Today the YNS DT is sharing with you this months DT Dare challenge.  The dare this month is to reflect on and make something to celebrate International Women's Day.  There are many strong and confident women today working in so many capacities; owning companies, running companies, inventing the next best thing, and even just being a mom.  I wanted to create a card using the new Talk Bubbles and the new Cute Alpha Squares and coordinating die to highlight a simple and true statement about these confident women.

I started with a white base and used another white cs layer covered in some washi paper for my patterned background.  The talk bubbles were laid out over that using some foam dots and I spelled 'Brave' with the Cute Alpha Squares to be placed off center, also popped up.  A simple and bold statement card to celebrate the brave woman in your life.

You don't want to miss all the beautiful creations the DT  have made to help in sharing what International Women's Day means to them.  Thanks so much for stopping by and make a it great day!

Your Next Stamp March New Release Blog Hop

It's Blog Hop time crafty friends! That's right... it's the Your Next Stamp March Release!

This first set is perfect for me at the moment with being sick. It's called Call the Doctor.  Perhaps I should just give this project to myself? :)  One type of set that I definitely do not have a lot or any of are get wells.  When I saw this being released, I just knew I had to have it.  It's perfect for all types of illnesses.

I had this cute little tissue box in my stash that I wrapped up and made this tag to hang from.  Hopefully, I will bring a smile to the person under the weather.  For the tag, I used YNS Banner Die set, along with some patterned paper from Doodlebug &Co. for the main tag.  I then stamped the images on some white card stock and colored them in with Copics before cutting them out with the coordinating die set.  These were popped up on the tag while the sentiments were stamped directly onto the tag itself.  Some fun gumdrops were added for the finishing touch.

For this card, I am using a super sweet image called Music Bunny.  Again, so super cute with the darling mice enjoying the tunes on top of the piano.

Using some fun music patterned paper I had, I layered the image stamped on the large stitched square die to be popped up on top after it was colored in with Copics.  I added a few more music notes to the bottom corner to bring it all together.  The sentiment was stamped and fishtailed to be popped up at the bottom with a wooden heart button tied with some solid green divine twine.  I think choosing the sentiment was the hardest part! They are all so fun and perfect for the image.

Before you hop off to check out the fabulous projects, keep in mind this sweet deal Karen is offering for the release.  I have to say she always offers up a generous discount or deal for the new release.  Not too many companies do that, so snatch up what you like while you can on a deal!

Don't forget to leave a little love on each of the blogs as you hop for your chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the YNS Store! A random winner will be chosen on March 9th.

Keep on Crusin' - Your Next Stamp March Sneak Peak

Hi there crafty peeps!

Wow! What a week it has been.  I came down with what I thought was the flu and wasn't, then thought is was a chest cold, but wasn't and was told to stop my antibiotics because what I do have is bronchitis.  Oy vey... I have been miserable to say the least, but not miserable enough to get crafty and share with you Your Next Stamp's March release sneak peek!

This release is so much fun and especially some of the dies to be released.  Like every release, you won't be disappointed but you will be writing your list as you hop through tomorrow!

For my card, I am using a set called Vacation Phoebe.  Completely adorable and perfect for the Summer with vacations on the horizon. Or Spring Break for that matter!

I started with a white cs base and used the YNS Stitched square dies to create the center frame which is layered over some MME patterned paper.  The image was stamped and colored in with Copics, while the sentiment was stamped on a cut out from the YNS scallop circle die set and popped up along the corner.  I used some of the fun elements from the set to add to the sentiment and finished the card with some fun Love Earth Gumdrops and a bit of clear Wink of Stella on the sun.

Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog to see all the fun and beautiful creations the DT have put together.  Thanks for stopping by and hopefully you will be back tomorrow to join us in the March Blog Hop. Have a great Saturday!
