Happy Autumn - TCPTUES373

Happy Autumn is right! I am not sure about you, but it is just now beginning to feel and look like Autumn here.  It is the last week to play along with The Cat's Pajamas Stamps TCPTUES373 of Autumn.  The Cat Pack have made some awesome creations with the newest release to include some fantastic felt crafts.  If you haven't had a chance to check it out, head over to the TCP Blog to see all the fun crafty creations.

For my card in this challenge, I am using the new release Cut Up of Stitched Tree Duo to make this Autumn card of falling leaves.  Remember Basic Grey? I still have many of their patterned paper packs, because, well I really liked them.  I used some of that patterned paper as the background of the card after cutting out the center with the frame of the Cut Up.  I then placed back in the tree cutout before popping  up and placing around the leaves I cut out in various colors.

The sentiment was stamped directly onto the base and finished with a few self adhesive pearls.  I really like the simplicity of this tree cutout against the patterned paper.  Feels Fall like to me!  I hope you all have a great Tuesday and thanks for popping in!

The Cat's Pajamas Stamps New Release Day Blog Hop - Tea Time

It's release day with The Cat's Pajamas Stamps!! I hope you all enjoyed and saw all the wonderful sneak peeks. The kitty cat pack outdid themselves with their creations and projects!

Today, you can see some final projects using the newest products and the pack does not disappoint! Start HERE for the blog hop with the fabulous Julee.

For my card, I created one using the new Alice stamp set and the new Clock Stencilz.

The colors I used brought out the vintage look and I went with creating it with that look. I used some Distress Inks and the TCP Big Beautiful Blending Brush to go over the stencilz.  I used two colors to get the look and that panel was attached to some lace ribbon I had in my stash. Ribbon.. remember that? I find myself not really using it as much as I used to, but I still love it. How about you? Anyway, I digress.. The image was stamped and colored in with Copics before using the coordinating dies to cut it out and pop it over the top panel.  I stamped the sentiment directly onto the top panel and finished the card with a few self adhesive pearls.

Thanks for popping in and taking a peek! Make it a great one!

The Cat;s Pajamas Stamps - Sneaky Peek Day 5 - Slimline Dies

It's day 5 of The Cat's Pajamas Stamps and today is all about the fun Cut Ups called Slimline Dies. These are so fun to use to create a scene, but the best part is that these Cut Ups are longer than the usual card sized die.  So you can create those long slim cards with these dies without having to piece it together.

For my card, I made a CAS all white scene using the dies from both sets of Slimlines.

I initially thought I would make this into a Welcome card, but saw this perfect sentiment from the new release set of Follow Your Arrow. The back panel is a sky blue color card stock which then I layered and popped up the rest of the scene.  It was completed with a few rhinestones.

The Cat's Pajamas Stamps - Sneak Peek - Just Be You

Hey crafty friends!

It's day 4 of sneaky peeks with The Cat's Pajamas Stamps and today's set is just adorable!! The World is Yours... how cute is this? When making my card I envisioned a sunset and a calm look out from these two.

I colored in the image with Copics and the sky, which looks a little more brown than it should, was masked and the TCP Big Beautiful Blending Brush was used with some Distress Inks to create the sky.  For the grass, I am also using the new release Cut Ups of  Slimline Basics. The card was finished by adding the sentiment directly onto the panel and the leaves stamped throughout.  I could not go without some sparkle, so I added a little Wink of Stella onto the leaves.

Be sure you leave a little love here or on my IG page for your chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to the TCP Store when a random comment is selected. And as always, be sure to check out the TCP Blog to see all the awesome creations the Cat Pack have done!

To the Cat Pack  is showcasing the new set of Simply Blessed.  This adorable stamp set is perfect for making those fall cards or even a welcome to the neighborhood card. For my card, I used the TCP Stencilz of Birch Trees for the back ground before stamping and popping up the image at the bottom.

I used the TCP Big Beautiful Blending Brush to add the distress colors for the background.  The image was colored in with Copics and the sentiment stamped directly onto the front panel.

The Cat's Pajamas Stamps - TCPTUES371 - Animals

 Happy Tuesday!

It's a new TCPTUES challenge and this one is all about animals! The TCP store has many adorable animal images to add to your stash if you don't have them already and perfect to play along.

For my card, I am using the super cute set of I'm Not Fat.  Boy, I will tell you, that seems to be my motto during this quarantine and motivating me to exercise. Ahhh.... who am I kidding?! I don't exercise nearly enough. LOL!

This card is CAS and to the point to say I am sorry.  :)  The image was stamped directly onto the main panel and the flowers/grass were colored in with Copics. I brushed in a little yellow color in the corner for the sun and stamped the sentiment in the center. The card was finished with a red panel in the back and some self adhesive rhinestones.

Be sure to stop by the TCP  Blog to see all the fabulous creations the kitty cat pack have made for some super awesome inspiration.  We hope you will play along and link your project for a chance to win! Thanks for stopping by!

The Cat's Pajamas Stamps - TCPTUES371 - Hello Winter

 Happy Tuesday crafty friends!

There is still time to play along in this months challenge, TCPTUES371 of Slimline.  I love a long card and never make them, or at least many of them.  This challenge will get your thinking cap going and mojo flowing!

For my card, I am using the newly release Cut Ups of Cardinal Duo and Hello Winter.  Both are beautiful dies that make card making easy and if you are needing bulk amounts, these dies will help.

This card started with some heavy card stock in cream and used the same card stock to cut out the Cardinal Duo and the Hello Winter.  Using some red card stock, I cut out just the piece of the duo where the cardinal is situated to glue on top of the cream duo cut out. The same red card stock cut out was used for Hello Winter.  Once I knew where I wanted the cardinal duo to be placed, I brushed in a little yellow and orange distress inks for a background using the TCP Big Beautiful Blending Brush.  If you haven't gotten yourself one, you must!! It is a tool you need in your stash.  The duo was popped up using some foam tape and the Hello Winter was doubled layered to give it an outline.  This was also popped up.  I finished the card by spraying lightly over the card some shimmer water that I made, adding some glitter to the cardinal, a few muted rhinestones, and a thin strip of card stock to the bottom.

We hope you are able to play along with the Cat Pack to create some slimline cards! For more inspiration, check out the TCP Blog for more amazing creations! Thanks for popping in and hope you have a great one.

The Cat's Pajamas July Release and Blog Hop

Happy Tuesday crafty friends!  The time has arrived for the The Cat's Pajamas Stamps July New Release and Blog Hop!! Woot!! If you have arrived from the creative Brenda's blog, you are in the right spot!
We hope you have enjoyed the week of Sneaky Peeks and it helped get your holiday mojo started.  This release is has got me ready for the holidays but really... it has gotten me for the end of 2020! LOL!

For this card, I am using the new Cut Up of Little Truck along with the new release set of Oh Holy Night and one of my favorite Cut Ups - Evergreen Trees.

I used the Evergreen Trees for the background and then using the TCP Big Beautiful Blending Brush, I brushed in the sky and ground with some Distress Inks.  I added a few trees to the back of the truck from the Oh Holy Night set and directions to Santa. The card was finished with a touch of Stickles to the tops of the trees.

This next card was fun to make using the new Peek-a-boo Frames. I stamped the image from the new set of Warmest Wishes above the frame as his fishing hole while leaving  a lot of white space to make him the focus but completed the front with a snowflake cut up.

When the frame is open, you will get a warm sentiment to share. :)

Be sure to keep hopping along to see all the fabulous projects the Kitty Cats have done.  Next  up is the ever so talented Leigh!! We are happy to see her play along with us this  month. Thanks for hopping by!

It is day 5 of Sneaky Peeks for The Cat's Pajamas Stamps! We hope you have been loving what you have seen and ready to get the holidays in order... before the holidays!

Today we are sharing with you Christmas Tree Lot.  This set is fab-u-lous! Perfect for simplicity in a subway tile-ish type.

For my card, I used this tree against some simple watercolor spots.  I then colored in the 'Merry' with some clear glitter gel pen and added a few rhinestones. I finished the main layer with some holly cut outs from the O Christmas Tree Cut Up set to attach to the corner.

Are you in it to win it? Just leave a little love here or on my IG page for your chance to win! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!!

Your Next Stamp - You Are More Than Enough

Happy Friday Eve!

Today is my last day guesting with Your Next Stamp and I am sharing with you another  new set that was released called Positive Affirmations.  I know right now, there are many people who could use some of these sentiments or even just a nice pick me up.

I wanted to keep this CAS to showcase the sentiment.  I decided on a simple watercolor background and stamped the sentiment directly on top of that.  The included heart was added as were some fun YNS Gumdrops from various collections.  I layered the watercolor on top of a black panel and adhered that to the base of the card.

Thank you for taking a peek here, but be sure to stop by the YNS Blog to see more awesome inspriation by the DT and my other creation from the last 3 days.  Have a great day!

Your Next Stamp - Coffee

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a fun tag for my guest appearance with Your Next Stamp.  The new release of Cool Tag 6 die was perfect for this cutie from Coffee Characters.

I used the YNS paper collection of Summer Plaids for the tag and layered that with the circle cutout. I like to call it the slice of cheese. Because it just does! : ) I stamped and colored in the adorable image with Copics before cutting him out with the coordinating die and popping him up. Some of the circle bits from that layered die was used in the negative spots and outside of it. The sentiment was stamped on the banner piece and popped up.  I finished the tag with some green ribbon and is ready for coffee gift giving!

Thanks so much for stopping in and hope you all have a great one! Be sure to check out the YNS Blog to see all the other amazing creations from the DT on this newest release.

Day 2 Sneak Peek July Release - The Cat's Pajamas Stamps

It's day 2 of The Cat's Pajamas Stamps sneak peeks! This release will have your holiday cards done in no time and with time to spare in making some fun tags to go along with it.

Today we are showcasing the beautiful set of Oh Christmas Tree.  This is such a fun set that can even be used outside of Christmas if you don't use the sentiments. : ) Throw in the coordinating dies and you will have your self some awesome cut outs to create a beauty.

For this card, I started with a black base before layering it with a white panel.  I stamped and cut out various foliage and pine cones to create a little bunch. I popped up some of the foliage and adhered others to give it dimension.  I added a red fishtail banner with the sentiment and finished it off with some self adhesive rhinestones and some Stickles on the pine cones. There always needs to be sparkle...

For this card, using the same set, I thought I would do a chalkboard-ish style card.  Using a black panel, I used my white Hero Arts white stamp pad to stamp the sentiment and sprigs in the corner.  I then sprayed some homemade shimmer water onto the top and used my heat gun to set it. It still needed a little something that I decided to use my red Prismacolor pencil to outline 'jolly' and went over a few spots with my white pencil.  Then I highlighted other areas with my white gel pen.

Are you

Just leave a little love during the sneaky peeks and you can have a chance at winning a TCP Store gift certificate!  Thanks for stopping in and have a great one!

Your Next Stamp - Coffee Characters

I am so excited to be a guest with YNS Stamps! After being part of this awesome family for so long, saying goodbye was never easy, but I knew it wouldn't be forever... just until the next time. : )

I am sharing with you a card I made using the newest release set of Coffee Characters.  Gah! You all know how much I love me some coffee stamps. This sentiment is perfect too!

I created the background using the YNS paper collection of Summer Plaids and happened to come across an old Martha Stewart border punch I've had in my stash that I used  for the sprig border.  The image was stamped and colored in with Copics before cutting him out with the coordinating die set.  I popped up this little cutie over the YNS Scallop Circle die cut and added the sentiment directly onto the base.

If you haven't had a chance to get your crafty hands on this cute set, Karen has an awesome sale going on now in the YNS Store - 30% off your entire purchase! Thanks for stopping by and I will have more to share with you over the next few days! Have a great day!

TCPTUES370 - Christmas in July

Helllloooooooo!!!

It has been a long time crafty friends, but I am happy to be back creating and sharing with you my creations again.  So much has gone these last few months, during the obvious crazy times we find ourselves in, but the waters have begun to calm down.

But enough about that! Let's get to The Cat's Pajamas TCPTUES challenge! It is all about Christmas in July and what timing... it happens to be sneaky peek week for TCP and you won't be disappointed for holiday readiness.

For my card, I used the evergreen edge die for the tress before creating my scene to head to the North Pole or bust! The image was was colored with Copics  and used the TCP Big Beautiful Blending Brush to add the sky with some Distress inks.  I am not very good at adding some water, but what I did do, I created with both Copics and Prismacolor pencils.

We really hope you are able to play along for your chance to win.  Need some inspiration? There is no shortage of mojo over on the TCP Blog PLUS with the awesome creations by the Cat Pack for sneaky peek week, you will sure find your creative side. Sharing Hope - TCPTUES367 Sharing Hope

Happy Quarantine Day 297,674...  I hope you all are staying healthy and doing well!

There is still plenty of time for you to get a little crafty and play along with the Cat Pack for TCPTUES Challenge of Sharing Hope.  For my card, I turned the super bear from the set Super in to a super doctor.  These hard working medical professionals all around the world deserve all the recognition and thanks possible. Where do you even begin? They are providing a selfless service to the public while sacrificing their own families.  Thank you to all who are still working to keep our fridges full and providing meals to those in need.  Just thank you....

For the main panel, I used the TCP Cut Up of Balloon Frame to make the window and adhered that to the main card.  I then popped up the image inside the frame.  The sentiment was stamped at the top and bottom of the frame and finished the card with a few of the TCP Cut Ups of Stitched Clouds.  I really like how this little guy turned out with the exception that I wish I had made his head cover a bit wider.  Otherwise, I like it.

We hope you will be able to join us and play along! Link your project to the TCP Blog and you could have a chance to win! Thanks for stopping by!

April New Release and Blog Hop - The Cat's Pajamas Stamps

Release day and blog hop is here for The Cat's Pajamas Stamps and there are so many fun sets and Cut Ups for you to add to your collection.  I hope you all have had some time to be a little creative and get lost in your creativity.  If you arrived here from the awesome Wendy's blog, you are in the right place! If not, start here.

Along with this fun blog hop is a new TCPTUES367 challenge! This challenge is about Sharing Hope and we could all use that.  The Kitty Cat Pack have put together an awesome hop and some beautiful hope creations.

For the hop, I made a birthday tag using the new release set of Messy Birthday.  I am always using tags for gifts and it is one of my favorite things to create.

I stamped the image an colored it in with Copics before cutting out the shape using TCP Cut Ups of Spring Tag Duo.  I then cut out a piece of patterned paper that would coordinate well and layer the back side with it.  I finished the tag with some ribbon and ready for gift giving.

For the TCPTUES367 challenge, I used the newly released set of Still Life to create this somewhat of a spotlight style card.  The sentiment of "Spring it on" speaks to telling the universe to not only bring along Spring, but whatever is thrown your way. You will overcome!!

I first stamped the image where I wanted it on the top panel and coloring it with Copics.  I layered it on the black and blush colored cardstock.  I then used my MISTI to line up that panel to where I wanted the background and being able to pop up the layered colored panel.  I finished the card with a few rhinestones which is a little hard to see in the picture.

Thank you so much for hopping in and your next stop is the talented Melissa!

Day 6 - Sneak Peek - The Cat's Pajamas Stamps

Happy Saturday everyone! Although, I suppose that really doesn't matter right now, does it? : ) It's like everyday runs into one another and I really have to think what day it is. I hope you all have some beautiful weather to enjoy at least this weekend.

Today we are peeking into the new fun set of Silly Numbers.  Numbers are great for a variety of occasions and I love that these are not too big.  Perfect for smaller projects.

You can see there are coordinating Cut Ups to match the numbers.  In addition to the numbers, the 'Best Wishes' Cut Ups is new for the month as well and also makes for easy projecting making.  For my card, I used some patterned paper from my scrap stash for the background before layering over the Best Wishes die cut out.  The numbers were stamped in Memento Ink and cut out with the coordinating dies and popped up.  The card was finished adding another sentiment from the new release set of Messy Birthday to pop up below the numbers and some Stickles dotted for some sparkle.  Not sure I love that part, but with Stickles, once its on its on.  : )

I hope you all have been leaving a little love as you have been checking out the sneak peeks! Just leave a comment on either the Cat Packs blog or IG account for your chance to win a TCP Store gift certificate of $10. Thanks for taking a peek!

Day 5 - April Sneak Peek - The Cat's Pajamas Stamps

Day 5 of sneak peeks with The Cat's Pajamas Stamps!! Have you enjoyed seeing all the fun projects the Cat Pack have created? This release is so fun ad perfect for everything Spring.

Today, I am sharing with you the new set called Get Your Sparkle On.  This set is super cute and wonderful to make pick me up cards.

I pictured this cutie running around swirling her wand around that I decided to use the TCP Flutter By die to create her trail of sparkle.  The image was colored with Copics and fussy cut out to be popped up.  Her crown was colored in with Wink of Stella in gold and topped with some Sakura clear glitter gel pen.  I then used that same pen to run across the swirls for a little sparkle.  The card was then finished with some pearls and rhinestones and the sentiment stamped directly onto the panel.

Be sure to stop over on the TCP Blog to see all the fabulous creations for the week so far, but also be sure to leave a little love here or on my IG page for your chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the TCP store! Thanks for stopping by!

Sneaky Peek Day 2 - The Cat's Pajamas Stamps - Let There Be Cake

It's Sneaky Peek Day 2 for The Cat's Pajamas!  I hope you have had a chance to peek at yesterdays fun sneak and all the gorgeous creations the Cat Pack put together.

Today we are going to share a sneak for you called Let There Be Cake! This is a fun set that reminds me of cake maybe you'd find in Alice in Wonderland. : )  To keep with this fun and wonky look, I created an off center panel card to match the cake.

I started with a light green cardstock base and off centered my main layer panel.  The cake pieces were stamped using different Memento ink colors and layered on top of the cake stand after cutting it out and popping it up. I used the flag instead of candles and finished the card with a few pearls and rhinestones for some sparkle and two different sized ric rack ribbon at the bottom.

Be sure to head over to the TCP Blog to see all the wonderful creations made for you to get your mojo flowing during some down time you may have.  Are you
