Good evening bloggers!
I know with the holidays upon us, you probably have seen more than a fair share of holiday creations throughout the crafty world. Well, how about we switch gears a little and fast forward to something cheery and Spring like?
I have a beautiful collection to share with you by Anna Griffin called Blomma, created by Jessica Swift, which you can find over at the fabulous Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. The colors in this line will speak to many of you as it did for me, and you will create some gorgeous creations WITHOUT stamping using just a few items from the collection.
Once again, I have made a set of 3 cards:
Aren't the colors just wonderful?! So happy and cheery. Items in this line that I used are:
Here are my cards individually.
For this card, it seriously took me less than 10 minutes to do. I started with some white Recollections heavyweight cardstock for the base and added some patterned paper in the grey polka dot. Add the 3-D Blomma flower sticker and pop up a Blomma quote die cut using some Therm-o-Web pop ups, finished with a few Kaisercraft rhinestones in Hot Pink - You are complete! Easy Peasy!
For this card, I again started with the heavyweight white cardstock for the base followed with some Blomma patterned paper for the back panel. I fishtailed two other patterned papers layered with some cardstock I had in my scrap stash in a hot pink and mustard color. I adhered that to the back panel finished with another Blomma Quote die cut popped up, and seam binding ribbon treatment in Baby Pink, topped with a button. For the ribbon treatment, I wet my finger tips to lightly wet the seam binding before hitting it with my heat gun for a quick crinkle to it.
For my final card, I once again used a Blomma Quote die cut for the main focal point popped up with some Therm-o-web pop ups over a center white piece of cardstock cut out using the Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles. The card was finished with some Smoke Grey seam binding ribbon, Kaisercraft Hot Pink rhinestones, and a smaller Blomma 3-D flower sticker.
These cards can make for simple, beautiful, quick and easy cards to be given as a set or to keep on hand for that special someone. Thank you for stopping by to peek and I hope I was able to inspire your creativity to make something beautiful!
Totally GORGEOUS!!!
