Today I would like to share with you another set made with the beautiful Anna Griffin collection called Blomma. AND to make things even sweeter, this collection is on sale over at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store during the Thanksgiving Sale happening this week. Now is the time to stock up on all the beautiful ribbon and stamping supplies you have been wanting.
As I normally do, I have created a set of three cards. This time, I made two 5"x5" cards and one A2 average card size. I also went beyond a bit of the 10 minute creations on the two 5"x5" cards. Those can be made in about 30. Here is the set:
Aren't these colors just gorgeous? There are so many fun elements that come with this collection, such as the rosettes, that I really wanted to incorporate it all.
This card is an average A2 size and can be made in about 10 minutes. I wanted to feature the 3-D rosettes and a sentiment from the titles, tags, and quotes die cuts, keeping it simple. I started with the heavyweight cardstock from Recollections for the base and used a coordinating paper from the 6x6 pad for the bottom layer. I finished the card by added a few of the hot pink Kaisercraft rhinestones and some beautiful seam binding ribbon in Nu Rust.
For this card, I started with some white heavyweight card stock from Recollections as the base, cutting it for a 5"x5" sized card. I layered it with some SU! Basic Grey cardstock and a sheet from the 6x6 Blomma pad of patterned paper. I sewed around the edges and cut out a white panel using Spellbinders labels 1 to be popped up with some Thermo Web foam squares in the center. Using the tags, titles, and quotes die cuts, I positioned a journal tag and the word 'love' over the label. I completed this card by using a 3-D flower sticker and tied bows from Nu Rust and Summer Rose seam binding ribbon layered on top of each other. The card was completed by adding a corsage pin, twisted burlap string, and some Kaisercraft rhinestones.
This card is also a 5"x5" using two patterns from the Blomma 6x6 pad and using some cardstock scraps to punch out circles in 1" and 3/4" sizes to create a line between the two. Once I positioned the circles using a small amount of adhesive on the bottom, I sewed through the circles a few times to give it a wonky look of thread. Again, using the tags, titles, and quotes die cuts, I chose this sentiment to be popped up and finished with both the 3-D flowers and rosettes.
I hope this collection gave you some inspiration to create some cheery and fun cards to give. Now hurry over to The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store to get this while it is on SALE!! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
Just love all of these, Deb! So colorful!
