The Cat's Pajamas Stamps June Release and Blog Hop

It has arrived! The Cat's Pajamas Stamps June release and Blog Hop! If you arrived from the fabulous Michele, you are in the right place.  If not, head back over to Lynn's blog to start. The sneaky peeks were knocked out of the park by the Cat Pack and hope you have your list ready to grab all those you loved.

I have two fun hop cards to share with you all and this month I kept it clean and simple.  I just love all the new release images and Cut-Ups that I wanted to showcase them the best I could.  For my first card, I am using the new set of Penguin Summer and the new Going Round and Round Cut-up.

I colored the image with Copics and fussy cut around it.  For the wave, I am using the TCP Cut-Up of Wavy Stitched Border and attached it to the Going Round and Round Cut Up.  The sentiment was stamped directly onto the card base.

For my second card, I decided to combine two different Cut-Ups to create the outcome sentiment.

I think it's fair to say that both a yummy drink and some yummy ice cream is mom fuel for sure! :)  I cut out each and made my + and = from some scratch cardstock.  The sentiment came from the fab set of Need Glasses which happens to be the freebie in the TCP store when you spent more than $60! This set has so many great sayings to be used on that perfect card or gift.

Now, be sure to finish you hop from here to the fabulous Alma's blog! Thanks for stopping by!

A'Parrot'ly It's Your Birthday - DT Dare Your Next Stamp

Yay for the weekend! Hopefully, you all have some nice sunshine today and are enjoying some warmth.

Today is the Your Next Stamp DT Dare and it is all about Animal Antics! YNS has so many fun animal sets that this is a perfect dare to see some great creations using different sets.  For my card, I am using the Window Panel die to set the stage for this card.

Using the set of Parrot-ise, I stamped the images and colored them in with Copics before cutting them out with the coordinating dies.  The patterned paper is from the YNS Tropical Island collection and the gumdrops are the Fairy Magic set.  Once the images were cut, I popped them up over the panel and patterned paper to give it a tropical jungle type feel.  Ok, maybe not jungle, but lush and tropical!

Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog today to see all the fab creations and if you leave a little love, a random winner will be chosen to win a stamp set of your choice! Who doesn't love that?  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Got Scraps? Friday Challenge - Your Next Stamp

Happy Friday - Happy Summer!

Whoo Hoo! Summer is officially here. It has only been a week since my kids got out of school for the Summer and I have enjoyed each. and. every day.  I have mostly enjoyed not having to get up early to see my boys off to school and having the after school hectic sports schedule. So, bring it on Summer!

For this week's challenge, the sketch is perfect for those patterned paper scraps.  I of course couldn't resist using the sketch to create this card with the Whatnot Sentiments Nine set.

I wanted to make a masculine card as I have run into recently not having many to give when needed.  Using the YNS Birthday Boy paper collection, I paired those scraps up with a Whatnot sentiment.  The ink is Stone Gray from Your Next Stamp and I popped up the sentiment panel while finishing it off with some Love Earth Gumdrops.

Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog to see all the wonderful creations made by some of the DT members.  Thanks for popping in and hope you have a great weekend!

Done Adulting - The Cat's Pajamas Stamps June Sneaky Peeks

Don't let that header fool you! There is nothing "done" about sneaky peeks.  The time has come for June's new release sneak peeks for The Cat's Pajamas Stamps.

This release is fabulous with some new alphabet dies and wonderful summer drink designs, sentiments, and dies to match.  Get your pen and paper ready this week to jot down your favorites as the Kitty Cat Pack share with you some awesome creations.

For my first card, I am using the new Big, Little, Alphabet dies to create this fun card in coordination with the new set called Penguin Summer.

I don't know about you, but I have a few days this sentiment could be used! I just love it and decided to use the alphabet dies to start the sentiment.  There are so many fun images in this set that it was hard to choose but I settled on this cute guy on the pogo stick.

For my second card, I am using the new Liquid Therapy set for this watercolored margarita card.

Using some Distress Inks, I created the watercolored background and added a top panel cut out using the Eyelet die and heat embossed the sentiment in white.  I finished the card with the lime cut out from the Margarita die set and popped that up for a little dimension.

This whole release is wonderful and I look forward to many more projects using these sets and dies.  Now that I have wet your palette for some of the newest items being released, are you

Leave a comment as your peruse through the sneaky peeks and a random winner will be chosen for a TCP gift certificate. Thanks for popping in and hope you have a great week!

Your Next Stamp DT Dare - Summer Kickoff

I don't know about you, but here in my household, we have yet to officially kick off Summer.  We are in the last week of school (YAY!) and then I can say "Let Summer begin!" In the meantime, the DT of Your Next Stamp have created some super fun and super summer-y projects to help you kick off Summer!

For my card, I pulled out the Waddles Beach Fun set to create this cute frame card.

Waddles was colored in with Copics and the waves were made using the Tiny Waves die set. The frame used is the InstLove Polaroid die while I sponged in a little sky before completing the card with some clouds and the sun.  I couldn't resist adding in the cute crab and starfish to make it a little more beach-y.

Be sure to head to the YNS blog to see all the fabulous creations. Leave a little love and you can have a chance to win a stamp set of your choice! Who doesn't love that? Thanks for stopping in and taking a peek! Have a great Wednesday!

2017 Your Next Stamp Faves Blog Hop

The DT for Your Next Stamp is showcasing their favorite in a blog hop this month instead of hopping along with a new release.  But don't worry! We will be back next month with a new release!

This was a hard task to do as there are so many fun and favorite stamp sets with YNS.  But I am always partial to sentiments.  So, I decided to make this card with one of my favorite sentiment sets, Whatnot Sentiment Eleven and a die set, Rainbow Fun, that I love as well but just haven't used often.  I thought they were perfect together.

I used the Stitched Scallop rectangle dies for the background and cut out the rainbow with different colored card stock.  I then put them together before adding some embossing powder to it to give it its glitz!  The clouds were added and I used different colored Memento inks for the sentiment colors. The card was finished using different colored gumdrops.  Just a happy card with happy colors!

For this special hop, Karen has a fabulous sale to share with you all.  It's the crazy June sale!!

Make sure you hop on this sale so you don't miss out on YOUR favorites!! Thanks for hopping by!

Friday Challenge - Your Next Stamp

Happy Friday!

Your Next Stamp's Friday challenge is here and the sketch is perfect for a few things.  I thought how perfect it would be to make a shaker card or even to make a fun window/spinner card. Any way you choose to use the sketch will give you multiple ideas.

I decided to use the sketch to create this card using One in a Melon.

I created the window using the YNS scallop circle dies and used the Watermelon Party paper pack for the background.  The images were stamped and cut out using the coordinating dies before being popped up over the window.

We hope you will join the challenge and link your creation up on the YNS challenge blog for a chance to win! Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great weekend!
