Star of Bethlehem - Timeless Tuesday 246

Hello everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend this Veterans holiday.  We are back with another fabulous Timeless Tuesday Challenge and Ally is our hostess with the mostess!

Ally has a fun challenge and one that everyone loves - sketches!! This week, it's Pick a Sketch...

For my card, I chose the second sketch using the new release set of Star of Bethlehem. Such a beautiful flower and this set is no exception.

I started with Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock for the base and main image panel which I stamped the image with Memento Black before using the following Copic colors:  C1, C3, C5, Y08, G61, G63, G67, YG03, G21, G24, G28.  The outside shade is YR30 and YR000.  I used my CB folder of Swiss Dots to emboss just the bottom portion of the card base and some gorgeous Anna Griffin Yuletide Greetings collection patterned paper.  The image was cut out using Flourishes Perfectly Pierced Classic Frames die set.  The sentiment was stamped in Memento Northern Pine using what I call "selective sentiment stamping" by inking the sentiment one word at a time to fit what you are creating.  In this case, I wanted the sentiment in a straight line.  I finished the card with a creamy button tied with gold cord. The button looks like it is sagging, but I assure you it isn't. :)  Just the way the picture came out I guess!

Thanks for popping in today and we hope you play along and link up! It is your chance to win some Flourishes goodies. Have a great day not before you stop by and check out the fabulous creations of the Timeless Tuesday team!!
