New Release Sneak Peek for The Cat's Pajamas

Happy Monday everyone!  I know it is not a happy day for those living in Florida, to include my in-laws.  I do hope those living in the sunshine state remained safe and out of this angry storm.  And to make this Monday just a little more somber, it is the 16th anniversary of 9/11.  Please take a moment today to remember both Floridians and those who lost their lives during the attacks of 9/11.

On a happier note, it is Sneaky Peek Week for the Cat's Pajamas Stamps and I am bringing up the final line up in this week of awesome creations.

Today, I have two cards to share with you and first up is a CAS Christmas card using the soon to be released set of Christmas Cookies.  Such a fun and elegant set at the same time.

I started dry embossing the main panel before die cutting and stamping the image onto the ornament.  After stamping in the gray ink color, I went back over the image with Versamark and some clear silvery glitter embossing powder and heat embossing the image.  For the bow, I used the super fun Easy Stitched Bow to add to the top of the ornament before using some silver thread to "hang" it.

My second card is another CAS but colorful Christmas card using the new Big Holiday Words set.  There are so many possibilities of what you can make with this set. I just love it!

I used some plaid holiday patterned paper and layered some solid cardstock on top fishtailed.  The heat embossed the sentiment and finished the card with a few rhinestones for sparkle.

Don't forget to stop by tomorrow to join in on our new release blog hop! You can have a chance to win a TCP Gift Certificate just for leaving some love along the way.  Thanks for stopping in and hope you have a great day!

  4. Your ornament card is beautiful! I love the black, white and red combination. It also looks great on the embossed piece of card stock you have in the background! Your "joy" card makes me smile! I love the chevron piece of Christmas plaid paper you have on it. I really like this one. I hope your in-laws are alright and didn't sustain a lot of damage to their home.
