The Cat's Pajamas Stamps March Release and Blog Hop

It's here!! Release day and Blog Hop for The Cat's Pajamas Stamps. If you arrived here from the talented Rebekah, you are in the right place.  If not, start here! I am sure you have all had a chance to peek at the wonderful creations the Cat Pack have done for the week and now is your chance to grab your list and get shopping!

For today's release, I am sharing with you the new Travel Stickers stamp set which I thought I would take a crack at creating a postcard using these fun "stickers."  I always love a postcard and I realized that making them was just as fun.

I started with using some Kraft card stock as my postcard and thought about layering either side or both to give it a cleaner look if you will.  But I really like the rustic feel and look of the card stock that I left it as it.  Using my distress inks in Pumice Stone and Tea Dye to stamp the different images on the outside. I added the cut out from the Rectangular Stamp die to frame one of the stickers and added the 'Post' word from the Mailbox die. For the backside, I used a stamp set I have with the address lines and added a few more images around.  You can't really see the bottom right image, but it's there! :)

For my second card, I am using the ever so cute set of For Fox Sake and the new Mailbox die set to create this little love letter to be sent.

I know I have mentioned it before, but this stamp set along with the Year of the Pig are really just so adorable that it has to be on your must have list.  I cut out the mailbox with the die set and added the cute little mouse from the this set to the bottom.  He is colored in with Copics and I completed the scene with the sentiment, clouds, and heart to the top of the mailbox.  I felt a little sparkle was needed that I added a few silver sequins.  Because we all need a little sparkle in our lives...

Thanks for hopping by and be sure head over to Alma's blog for more crafty creations and inspiration from the Cat Pack guru herself!
