Deconstructed Smile

I finally got to ink up a bit of Carolyn King's new set from Gina K called Stamp it Big! Such an awesome versatile set and I always love the look of small and big sentiments together.  I decided to use last weeks Deconstructing Jen's sketch #87 and make it a masculine card.  I really just don't have enough of those.

I have been fighting a sinus cold, which seems to have made home behind my right eye, and I am seeing that I have my sentiment just a bit crooked! Oh well! All part of being handmade, right?  I will have to play with this sketch again when I am feeling better so that I can get a straight card made. :)

7Gypsies dp collection of Off the Wall was used and I roughed up the edges on the main panel.  I finished the card with twine and popped up the sentiment oval once I sponged the edges.

Super quick and easy and now another masculine card to add to my stash! Tomorrow is something special, so be sure to check back here to find out what it is and how you can have a chance at winning a $25 Flourishes gift certificate!

Thanks for popping in and hope your day is wonderful!

  2. hee...laughing bc of the conversation we had about it...but seriously it is not that crooked--if you laid off the wine a bit you might have an easier time lining up CLEAR stamps! hee!

Seriously tho---I really like it---great colors and love the banner design!
