What's the blog candy you can win here?? Keep reading! ;)
And speaking of candy, today is Friday which means OCL's Friday Sketch!! By playing along, you can also get a chance to win some OCL stamps!! Who doesn't like that??! Here is todays sketch:
I will be showing you a card made with this sketch after this sneak peek. So let's go peeking...
This card is made with a new OCL set called Patriotic Parade. This bear and turtle are just darling!!
Due to the size of this image, I used OCLDT10 sketch which worked out beautifully! (Not to mention, it catches me up on playing along!!) You can find the sketch here. I colored the image with Copics and used my Sakura glaze pen on the wheels and nose of the bear and my Sakura clear glitter pen on the stars. Here is a closer look:
You can't see the nose very well, but you can see the shine off the wheels and if you enlarge the photo by clicking on it, you will be able to see the sparkly stars! I used dp Kismet by Katye Witt, star brads which were given to me, ribbon by Offray, and the main image is popped up. I cut the corners of the sentiment to look a little like a banner while bending it to look "wavy." Such a fun set that THIS IS THE BLOG CANDY! : )
As you can see, it is versatile in being able to interchange what you would like in your wagon. You could be the lucky winner....
As mentioned, I made another card using todays sketch above and I am giving you another peek into day one's set of Flower Power. If you would like to see the entire set, click here for the post.
This time, I toned down the brightness, but kept in the different colors. The sentiment is perfect; I really had fun with this set!
Once again, the image is colored in with Copics, I used my scalloped Nesties for the main panel, dp by Pink Paisley, while the green cs is scrap. I didn't have the right color of ribbon, so I used my orange Copic marker to color in some plain, white, skinny ribbon. The scallop and the sentiment are popped up.
I hope you enjoyed these creations and don't forget to stop by the OCL DT blogs for your chance at some candy- not to mention seeing some awesome creations! Thanks for stopping by!! Have a fantastic Friday!!
