New Digs!

Happy Tuesday!  It's hard to believe that it is still as cold as it is here with Spring around the corner! I am ready for some warm sunshine!!  It was an exciting night last night for one of my son's as he lost (finally!) another tooth that has been hanging on for dear life!! This tooth refused to come out and it finally gave in! LOL!! The tooth fairy visited and he was a happy boy this morning!

Today I wanted to share with you a suspension card using one of OCL's CHA releases called New Digs.  This is such a fun set and perfect for when you move or for someone you know who is moving.  I thought it would be neat to suspend the sign in this card.  I am not totally crazy with this layout but it works.  You can find the instructions on how to make a suspension card here on SCS.

I used my Copics to color in the image and give it a grainy look.  I used the little grass stamp in the set at the bottom of the sign and sponged in the rest.  The clouds were sponged in using my scallop punch and SU! Bashful Blue.  The corner piece is from Spellbinders and doubled my oval punch out for the sentiment at the bottom.  The dp is from Nikki Sivils called Victoria Street and I layered that with Kraft and Tango Tangerine.

The bottom picture is a close up to the suspension.

I guess that sums it up for now!! Thanks a bunch for stopping by and peeking! Don't forget to leave a comment here for your chance to win some Blog Candy that included a new OCL stamp set.  And you can win more at OCL's Blog doing the sketch challenge.  You can find that sketch here.

Have a fantastic day!
