It's hhheeeerrrre! The April release for Your Next Stamp! Did you get a chance to see all the fabulous creations from the DT? There is so much fun and "Summer" in this release.
For my first card, I am using the One in a Melon set. This is adorable and perfect to pair with the watermelon slice die the yummy new Watermelon Party paper collection that is being released too.
I used the new paper collection as my background before layering it the Doily Trio one for the flamingo to be popped up over. The sentiment was added and I thought it would be nice to outline 'melon' with a coordinating color. But it didn't turn out as well as I wanted.
For my second card, I am using the super cute set of Unicorns Rock. Unicorns are in and this set is perfect.
I colored in the image with Copics and cut it out with the coordinating die. For the glitter panel, I took a piece of cardstock and covered it with Versamark before adding some iridescent embossing powder over it for lots of sparkle. A silver glitter heart and some glittered gumdrops were the added finishing touches for this little cutie. This set will be a cute one to color up!
