Warm Winter Wishes - Your Next Stamp

Happy Friday everyone!

It's another challenge over at Your Next Stamp and it's perfect to showcase your Halloween creation.  For my card, I fast forwarded the season to Winter to create this cute scene using Ice Skating Phoebe.

To create the background, I used the Snowfall Panel die and airbrushed the sky with my Copics. I used the Winter Scene die for the background scenery and hand cut the snow hills for the two layers below that.  The patterned paper was used for the ice to skate on.  Phoebe and the trees were colored with Copics and cut out using the coordinating die set.  For the trees and earmuffs, I used some flock for a little added texture. The images were popped up and the card was finished with some rhinestones for sparkle and the sentiment across the top.

Stop by the YNS Blog to see the other creations some of the DT members have created.  Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek.  Have a great weekend!

Have A Blast! Your Next Stamp Feature Day

Happy Saturday!
I hope you all having a great start to the weekend and have some warm weather to enjoy.  Unfortunately, our warm weather here has packed up and sent in the cold to replace him.  It was nice for a while to have some flip flop weather in the middle of Fall.

Today is Feature Day over on the YNS Blog and the DT have shared some awesome projects using the theme of Favorite Technique.  For me, my favorite technique is creating a scene using stamps and dies.

This card was made using the Blast Off set to create the scene of space as he is taking off.  I used the newly release Snowfall Panel die over some black card stock which I layered over a white base to give it the look of stars.  Once the image was colored with Copics and cut out using the coordinating dies, the rocket was popped up over the black panel. The stars were cut out with the same die set and placed in various spots. To add some more sparkle, some Silver Tinsel Gumdrops and small rhinestones were used throughout. The sentiment is stamped and popped up across the center.

Be sure to stop by the YNS blog to see all the wonderful creations and leave a little love for your chance to win a stamp set of your choice! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek here.  Have a great weekend!

Your Next Stamp - Designer Showcase - Halloween

Hello!

Each day this week, Your Next Stamp is sharing with you all projects the DT have come up for Halloween. Today I would like to share with you a few things to give some good treats to your favorite person.

For the drink, I used the set Tricky Tonic to decorate the front.  The image was stamped and colored in with Copics before using the coordinating dies to cut it out.  This was popped up over the cut out from the Doily Trio One set and the dripping goo was placed at the top. This was completed with a spider on the end of his "web" glittered, as was the eyes and nose on the skull.  A black and white paper straw finished this look with the sentiment at the bottom.  For the treat bag, I used the die set called Cute Shopping Bag to be able to place in a small bag of treats.  The outside was decorated with the scallop circle and tag with the sentiment in the center.  A cute candy corn image from the Fab-boo-lous set was used to complete the look.

I hope I was able to help in a few Halloween treat ideas! Thanks so much for stopping in! Have a great Tuesday!

I started with a creme cardstock base and used some patterned paper on the bottom, tied in with some ribbon.  I used the corner cut outs for that lace look and added some Platinum Stickles to it.  The word 'Joy' was cut out and glued on top of the tag. It was completed by adding some sequins and ribbon at the top.  This 'Joy' die is your FREE with a $65 or more purchase! Woot!

It's sneaky peek day 5 over at The Cat's Pajamas.  Today's sneak is so much fun and full of cuteness! It is called This Could Be Vodka. I've seen many mugs with this sentiment and get a good chuckle every time.

For this card, I used the soon to be released Cut Up Scalloped Duo for the center cut out through the patterned paper. It was placed over a white piece of cardstock which the image was stamped onto and the cup was paper pieced.  I added a fishtailed banner to the top with the sentiment stamped directly onto it and finished the card with a few buttons.

Trick or Treat - Your Next Stamp Friday Challenge

Hey everyone!

It's another Friday challenge with Your Next Stamp and this sketch is a fun one! I couldn't resist using the adorable Waddles Trick or Treat set for this sketch and I think it turned out cute!

Waddles is just too adorable to not have in your collection and there are many different scenarios you will find him in over in the YNS Store.  For this card, I stamped the sentiments on two of the squares while using two different images in the set for the remainder two square.  They were colored in with Copics and the background papers were cute using the YNS Stitched Square die set.  The patterned papers are from Doodlebug & Co.

If you play along, and we hope you do, don't forget to upload your creation to the YNS Blog. Also, while perusing the YNS Store to see all the newest additions, check out the new stamp pads! Fabulous colors with awesome coverage.  Thanks for stopping in!

Winter Style - Day 3 Sneaky Peeks - The Cat's Pajamas

Day 3 of sneaky peeks with The Cat's Pajamas Stamps.  This set we are showing is such a beautiful set and perfect for those elegant cards you may want to make where the funny, tongue in cheek sentiments just doesn't go. : )

I love the beauty of this set with the many options it offers.  I decided to showcase this one with the ornaments from the branch for a CAS look.

I gave the branch an ombre type of look using 3 different Momento colors and then embossing it in clear.  Using the smaller stars in the set, I embossed in a gold glitter that before coloring in the ornaments with Copics.  I added a little white gel pen to that for a little pop of color.  The sentiment was also stamped and embossed in clear to match the dimension of the leaves.  I completed the card with some mini rhinestones for spahkle!

With this awesome release comes some awesome prizes if you choose to join in on the fun.  Here are some details:

- All the new stamps and dies will be released October 18

Freezing My Jingle Bells Off! Day 2 Sneaky Peek - The Cat's Pajamas

Hey all!

It's day 2 of The Cat's Pajamas October sneak peeks. This fabulous set being shown today is called Santa is Coming.  It is so fun and PERFECT for the new roller die set.  Again, as I mentioned yesterday, the sentiments in all the sets keep me giggling and today's card is no exception. : )

I have paired this image with the new Hill and Dale die set.  How fun is this set?

I layered one hill over the patterned paper and popped up the other.  The image was stamped directly onto the main hill panel and additional snowflakes were stamped throughout.  I had this idea of adding some jingle bells I had, which I did, but I think maybe it was not a smart move. LOL! Or maybe I should have added one more. Well, it's there and and it jingles!  I finished the card with some crystal Stickles along the hills, trees, and snowflakes.

Be sure to see all the fabulous creations from the Cat Pack here and add this fun set to your list! Thanks for stopping by!

Sneaky Peek October Release The Cat's Pajamas... And TCPTUES325

Hey everyone!!

It's a warm and wintery release this month for the October Release of The Cat's Pajamas Stamps! Not only are the sets fabulous and full of holiday cheer, but the sentiments really make the sets come alive and make you giggle.

Today is TCPTUES325 and it's all about beverages! The DT have tied this in perfectly with a soon to be released set perfect for that warm beverage lover!  I paired this with the soon to be released roller die set to make for fun, interactive projects.

So this would be the finished card once the penguin "rolls" down.  I stamped the image and cut him out to be placed on the penny rollers.  The image at the top was reversed and the cup stamped and cut out so it matches the cup he has as he falls.  Here are a few images as he rolls:

We sure hope you will join along in our challenge and don't forget to check back each day to see all the fun sneaky peeks! Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have a great day!

Hey Chickie! Your Next Stamp DT Dare

Hey chickies!

It's another DT dare with Your Next Stamp and we were challenged to create a square card.  I just love making cards that are out of the normal A2 size that we mostly get into the rut of making.  The downsize of different size cards are finding the envelopes to fit them.  However, for my card, I made this a 4.5"x4.5" size AND I happen to have envelopes to fit it! :) Win win!

For my card, I am using the newly release set of Merry Christmas Chickie.  This set is adorable and so much to create scenes with.  Added to the scene I created is the newly released Evergreen Trees die.

Once I cut the base card to size, I used the Stitched Square Frame die to cut out the frame with some patterned paper.  I colored the images with Copics and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.  The trees were cut out with the die and I added some white gel pen to the trees for a snowy effect.  The images were popped up and the card finished with some Holly Jolly gumdrops.

Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog to see all the fab creations by the DT and leave a little love! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great hump day!

Your Next Stamp Blog Hop October Release

Happy October!

Did you enjoy all the YNS sneak peeks for this fab release? The DT definitely rocked it and there is more to see as you hop along.  I hope you have your list ready, because there is an awesome deal you don't want to miss.

For my first card, I am using the new Snowfall Panel die, Warm Winter Wishes set, Scallop Circles, and the Evergreen Tree Die.

For the background of this card, I cut out the snowfall panel die and the dots cut out were left behind on my cutting mat.  Using some Press n Seal, I collected those dots onto it and then added some glue to the backs.  Carefully placing it on the card, I pressed it down to adhere it.  I paper pieced the cup in the main image before cutting it out to be popped up over the scallop circle.  The evergreen trees were added to the sentiment line panel using some shimmer card stock.

For this card, I kept a CAS look using the build a tree die set and the scripty holiday words.  The panel cut out was made using the stitched rectangle die set.

As always, Karen has sweetened the deal to allow you to get everything on your list.  She is offering 20% OFF your order!

Be sure to hop along and leave a little love too! You can have a chance at winning a gift certificate to the YNS Store!  Thanks so much for hopping by!

Brrr.. It's Cold Outside! - Your Next Stamp October Release Sneak Peek

Can you believe it is time for another release with Your Next Stamp? And today starts the sneaky peeks of this super wintery release.

Fall is definitely upon us with the cooler weather and rain we have had. This is my favorite time of the year, but nothing ever prepares me for the winter weather just lurking and waiting for me to look like these cute little chicks!

I really had to laugh when I saw these images because it really reminds me of me, but I wear more clothes! This CA girl needs her warmth!

This set is called Merry Christmas Chickie and I paired them up with the Winter Scene Die.  The images were colored in with Copics and cut out using the coordinating dies.  I added some green cardstock to the trees in the scene and used my white gel pen to create some snow.  Copics were used to color in the fence and snowman accessories, also using the white gel pen for some snow.  The background patterned paper is YNS's Swirly Fun collection.  I popped up the images and stamped the sentiments directly onto the main panel.  The card was finished with some Stickles added to the hats and scene line on the snow and some white gel dots for snow on the patterned paper.

Don't forget to check out all the wonderful creations from the DT and get your list ready. The blog hop begins tomorrow and you don't want to miss out! Before I sign off, I would like to wish my husband a Happy Anniversary today.  (He says he reads my blog, so let's just see about that! ;)) 15 adventurous years and I am looking forward to 15 more!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.
