Happy Friday everyone!
Being Friday means it's time for Your Next Stamp's Friday Fun Project. I cannot complain about today being Friday, (who could, right?) but I also couldn't complain it being Wednesday or Thursday either. I was able to spend the last few days along the Eastern shore, in a resort, working! Yes, working. The weather was beautiful and the surroundings perfect. Come to think of it, maybe I should complain that it is Friday - today I am headed back home. And home is no where near the shore. (insert that sad face here..)
I have digressed... my card. I have made this card using the new release set of For The Boys.
For this card, I stamped the image on Neenah card stock and sponged over with some distress inks in linen to soften the brightness. The image was colored in with Copics and the sentiment stamped below in Memento Rhubarb and popped up over the patterned paper. The base is a confetti cream card stock and the patterned paper is one I had in my stash from the Paper Studio. I used the current sketch from YNS for the layout and it happens to be super fun! The card was finished with some silver metal embellishments.
That is about it for me today, but be sure to head over to the YNS blog to see all the fabulous DT creations. You also don't want to miss tomorrows sneak peek for the May release of Your Next Stamp. Hope your day is sunny and warm and you all have a great Friday!
Great Father's Day card! Love the silver embellies you added to the banners! (I keep forgetting that you have a second job now--uuhhh, second to all the Mom jobs. ;) Hope it's still going well!)
