Let's hear it for the Red, White, and Blue! Hambo Hoedown

Welcome to another Hambo Hoedown Wednesday!

This weeks challenge is to use red, white, and blue in your project. Perfect for the holiday. I couldn't resist inking up Uncle Ham again for this.

For the layout, I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches here. Super fun and different.

I colored my image with Copics and stamped the sentiment on the same panel.  I used some blue cs from my scrap pile along with some red cs for the curve.  I stamped along the blue using Sparkler in white Palette, but unfortunately it did not show as well.  Here is a close up:

I then finished it off by putting some rhinestone and some Sakura glitter pen to highlight the fireworks.

Thanks for stopping by and have a safe and happy 4th of July!!

  1. your card is sooo cute Deborah, It is so annoying when the camera doesn't pick up the detail so well but I can imagine how gorgeous your fireworks sparkle. Happy 4th of July to you. :)
