No really!! It is! I have created a canvas sign for the holidays to take place of my usual sign I made for removing shoes in the house. I am a bit OCD in this matter, but it keeps me from mopping my floors every day!! :)
For this sign, I used an 11x14 canvas, some acrylic paints, acrylic paint markers, some crystal embellishments, and finished it off with some glitter glaze for the sparkle.
You will see in the next sign my terrible handwriting, so for this one, I used a template that I cut out using a Cricut. That allowed for much better looking letters. I really wanted to leave it very clean and Christmas like, so just the basic Christmas colors.
The first sign I made for everyday use is made with some acrylic paints, acrylic paint markers, and the negatives of MFT's Die-namics Flourishes die. My handwriting is atrocious, so kindly look over that... lol! I am hoping to make another with better writing....
This sign I wanted it to look a little shabby chic in the colors to match the entryway of my home. As for both signs, I place them in a large easel which I bought at Hobby Lobby.
A very simple project that can add some personality to your decor even if it is not to remove your shoes!! Thanks for peeking and hope your holiday activites are keeping you on your toes! I am happy to say that I am done with shopping, cards, and decorating!! Woot! I now hope to get more inky!! Have a great day!
these are sweet, I love the holiday one, hehehe :)
