A Wee Turkey - Hambo Stamps
Are you ready for Halloween tomorrow? For those of you who have kids, will you be trick or treating? I usually partake in this holiday with my kids, but this year, we have agreed to stay in, with the lights off and watch a movie together. There are a couple of reasons for it - one, the boys now have braces and really can't enjoy the usual candies and already don't like the others, two, it is suppose to rain, and finally, we just want to do something completely different! :) How will you be spending the holiday?
Speaking of different, I am going to jump completely over Halloween and bring to you a creation for the next holiday in line - Thanksgiving. Now, here's a holiday I love! Who doesn't? There is something so warm and cozy about Thanksgiving, don't you think?

SALE!! No Tricks, Just Treats - Flourishes
Plaid or Houndstooth? Timeles Tuesday 244
I love either pattern, but chose plaid because I realized that I have many papers in plaid and none with Hounds tooth! But it worked out perfectly with the image I picked.
I used this months new release of Winter Berries and turned it into more of Autumn Berries instead. This image was colored with Copics and cut out using Flourishes Perfectly Pierced Classic Frames die. There is some clear glitter pen over the berries which are hard to see, but is there. The layout is based on this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch which I added some piercing along the side, popped up the image, and finished it off with a few pearls. The sentiment is stamped directly onto the patterned paper by Echo Park's Reflections - Fall collection.
We hope you are able to play along with the Timeless Tuesday team and link your project with us. Be sure to stop by and check out the other fabulous creations made from the talented ladies! Thanks for popping in and have a great day!

Define Naughty... I {Heart} Papers
So in Winter fashion, I played with the ever fun CAS-ual Friday stamp set of Naughty or Nice which you can find over at I {Heart} Papers. Maybe you even picked up a set during their 5 year birthday anniversary sale? This set is so much fun to play with and you will surely get a smile from the person who may receive your fabulous creation.
I used some red cardstock for the base of my card while using some patterned papers from Echo Parks Tis the Season collection. (currently out of stock) The sentiment is stamped with Black and Rhubarb Red Memento Ink while I used some ribbon from my scrap stash to be placed under the main sentiment panel. I completed the card by adding some buttons and white paper twine to the corners of the sentiment panel. The final sentiment was stamped and made into a tab to be placed underneath the middle panel. All papers were adhered using 3M AGT tape which is a steal at IHP!
Thanks for popping in today and I hope you have a great rest of the week!

I used Flourishes Pinwheels and Popsicles set with the coordinating sentiment. I did finish the inside of the card to match and the sentiment states, "Have your cake and eat it too!' I colored the image with the following Copic collections and cut it out using Flourishes Perfectly Pierced Victorian Ovals die set. The main panel is matted with Flourishes Color Made Easy cardstock in Emerald Coast with patterned paper from Echo Parks Sweet Girl Collection. Friday Fun Project - Your Next Stamp
Sorry I have been MIA, but I have been enjoying some family time, traveling, while my husband is home from Afghanistan on R&R. 15 days goes by fast, so we are cherishing each one before he heads back out this weekend.
In the meantime, I have been wanting to ink up this little beauty for a while and I am happy to share it with you today!
This image is called I Wish and it is one of the fabulous designs released for Your Next Stamp from Omnia Designs. I used this months sketch for the layout, but turned it around a bit.
She is colored in with Copics and Echo Park patterned paper of Tis the Season is used. I cut out the image with my nesties and popped it up over the center. The card is finished with some simple rhinestones in the corners of the card.
We hope you are able to join us for the monthly challenge and link up your creations on the challenge blog! Thanks for stopping by and have a great Friday!

Hello Deer - I {Heart} Papers
I hope you all having a great week so far. I am sharing with you today a fun autumn card using again the fabulous Into the Woods set by Lawn Fawn which you can find at I {Heart} Papers. This set is so versatile and I just love the whimsical feel of all the Lawn Fawn stamp sets.
I made this card an average A2 size while using some patterned paper from Doodlebug & Co called Happy Harvest. I stamped the image directly onto my main panel with Memento Espresso Truffle before coloring it in with Copics. The sentiment is also stamped directly onto the main panel with two sentiments from the set. I finished the card with some Kaisercraft pearls and fishtail banners made from some scraps I had.

It's Your Day! Hambo Hoedown
Welcome to another fun Hambo Hoedown Challenge! This challenge will certainly get your mojo flowing and get creative. The challenge is to make a baby card in the non-traditional way.
Making this card was a lot of fun and I kept thinking about those novelty birthday books you can buy about the year you were born. They are so much fun to read and learn about what all was happening that special year. Although my creation is not so much that in depth, the sentiment made me think of such an item. :)
I used Hambo Stamps digi of Paperboy and colored him with Copics before fussy cutting him out. I used some patterned paper from Authentique and some Kraft cardstock. I used my scallop nesties to cut out the top corner for the patterned paper to peek out from before popping up the Paperboy. I finished the card with some twine and a made a tab cutout for the sentiment.
Thanks for popping in and be sure to stop by the Hoedown to see the other fun creations the other Bacon Bits have put together. And while you are there, link up your fabulous creation for your chance to win! Have a great Wednesday!

Country Time Burlap Christmas - Timeless Tuesday 242
Welcome everyone to another Timeless Tuesday Challenge!
I am this weeks hostess and I have a fun and trendy challenge. Something that you see everywhere you go. So what is this trendy challenge I speak of? Here it is:
I really do love the look of both materials and find myself admiring such items made with it, but don't create with much of it. Either material gives a great rustic feel and I am drawn to such. Here is my card I created using Burlap and just had to use Country time Christmas as my main image. Perfect for this challenge!

Dreidle Bears - Hambo Stamps
With the holidays around the corner, I thought it would be nice to touch base on Hanukkah. I couldn't resist using Hambo Stamps digi image of Dreidel Bears and the background image of Trees. I combined the two images so it would seem the bears are in the woods. It only seemed appropriate, right? :)
I know that Hanukkah is usually decorated with the traditional blues and whites, but I thought I would try it in an autumn theme. Not sure how I like it, but it sure is different! :) I suppose it is because my mind is telling me it is a Winter holiday. The patterned paper is by Little Yellow Bicycle called Acorn Hollow, which you can find right here at Hambo Stamps! I sewed around the edges and popped up the image over the top strip while finishing it with some jute twine. The image is colored with Copics using the Pointillism technique for the trees and ground.
Well, I am off to do some packing for a family trip. My husband is home for his R&R and we couldn't be more thrilled with having to be able to spend the next 2 weeks with him! Thanks for popping in and taking a peek!

Rosie Rabbit Friday Fun Project - YNS
Being Friday, that means another day of Your Next Stamps Friday Fun Project on the YNS challenge blog. If you haven't played along or checked out this months inspiration, be sure to check it out here for all the details and link up with us!
For my card, I used this month's sketch to showcase another fabulous digi just rolled out by YNS. This one is called Rosie Rabbit. Isn't it darling?
I printed the digi on some Neenah cardstock and gave it a quick shot from my heat gun before coloring it with my Copics. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey's 25th and Pine collection. I matted and popped up the main image.
We hope you play along for your chance to win a YNS gift certificate and a badge to brag about! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Pearls and Lace - Timeless Tuesday 241
Welcome back to another Timeless Tuesday Challenge! I hope you all got a chance to enter the Guest Designer contest we had running this last week. Best of luck to those of you who did!! Looking over the entries, I know it will be a hard one to judge. They were all fabulous entries.
This week, Cheryl is hosting our challenge in lieu of Judy. Unfortunately, Judy's mother had passed and she will be sitting out in this weeks challenge. I certainly wish Judy and her family much comfort and prayers during this difficult time. And thank you Cheryl for stepping in! Judy's challenge is:
You really can't get more beautiful than Lace and Pearls! And the possibilities of using both elements is endless. For my creation, I decided to use some actual lace fabric I had for a few years and make a background using it.
I thought it would make for a beautiful setting to the Dahlia set I used for my main image. I colored in the Dahlia using the following Copic colors and cut it out to be popped over the Flourishes Perfectly Pierced hourglass die set.
I stamped the sentiment from the set directly on the main panel and finished off the card with some pearls. I really liked how this turned out and will just have to think of other uses for this lace I have sitting around! :)
Thanks so much for stopping in and don't forget to check out the other fabulous creations from the Timeless Tuesday team!

I Love Fall - I {Heart} Papers
I am sharing with you today a card using Lawn Fawn's new set called Into the Woods from I {Heart} Papers. Oh what a darling set this is! And the coordinating die set has just been released and available in the store!!
I stamped the fox and tree with Memento Rich Cocoa before coloring it in with Copics. I used paper from Doodlebug & Co. called Happy Harvest. I sewed around the edges and at the top of the fishtail for an extra decorative look while using my nesties to cut out the image and popping it up. I finished it with the sentiment at the bottom corner and popping that up as well!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous start to your week!

Vellum - Hambo Hoedown Wednesday
Welcome back to another Hoedown challenge. We've changed up a bit on the challenge rules and you can read here to get all the details. With those changes come with the DT hosting a challenge twice a month. Every first and third Wednesday of the month. You may use ANY image to play along and the 2 winners from those challenges will get a digi image of. In between that, the DT will share on the blog inspiration and ideas that we know you will all love!
Being the first Wednesday in October, we have a new challenge and Jane is our hostess! Her challenge is to use vellum in your card or project. Vellum is another one of those items us crafters have but just don't use much of. So it was nice to dust some off and use it.
For my project, I printed on my vellum using Hambo Stamps Golf set and the sentiment "Fore! You..." I then colored the back side of the tee for a hint of color. I placed that under the top panel to over the main panel of Little Yellow Bicycle Acorn Hollow collection patterned paper. I finished it with some ribbon, twine, and a button. Here is a closer look of the vellum when against the paper:
Thanks for popping in and be sure to check out the other Bacon Bit's creations over at the Hoedown and leave them a little love! Have a great Wednesday!!
