Whew! We have made it through the holidays! The family and I are still out of town visiting family and I am certainly on FL time! 80 degree temps, the kids in the pool, and I forget that I have a blog to post on! lol! I hope you all enjoyed your holiday- I know we did! Plus, you add my birthday to the mix and it was great!!
I know Christmas is over, but I do have some cards I made that I will share with you over the next few days. Today, it's time to Get Your Merry On!!
This was made using Hambo Stamps Elf and sentiment stamps. It was colored in using Copics and cut out with my nesties. I doodles around the sentiment and finished the card with a coordinating chevron cutout and some shimmer twine from The Twinery. I added a mini bell to add to the festivities! : )
Ending this post is a little picture of me when the family came out to give me my cake which was a yummy homemade ice cream Oreo crumble cake!! Delish!!
Thanks for taking a peek and enjoy your day!!

CAS Christmas Card
Just a super quick and easy Christmas card I put together to send to a friend. I really like how it turned out using some Studio G cheapies and a sentiment from SU!
I finished the card by adding some crystal rhinestones after the sentiment and a few within the holly. Usually, these stamps don't stamp well, but this one did ok. I added a touch of Copics within the leaves and berries.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Wednesday!

Present Time! CYDI
Happy Tuesday!
I hope you all are getting caught up on your holiday preparations! I have finally gotten caught up enough to get back to crafting. It has been quiet here lately, I know, but I really had to get it together! lol!
So... today is a Can You Digi It? Inspiration challenge of Not Even a Creature was Stirring... I used an image from KiniArt called gift opening dog- isn't he cute?
For this, I used my Copics to color him in and the dp bg is from Paper Studio. I cut out the image with my Nesties and popped it up. I used some sheer ribbon and a metal stamped accent with some twine to finish it off.
Do you like to digi scrapbook? Well, head over to CYDI? and download your 12 days of Christmas Freebies of monthly scrapbook layouts! One for each month of next year!
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek! I have to get inky today and get some deadlines there accomplished! :) Have a great day!

Whimsey Calendar with SRM Stickers
Here is a whimiscal calendar holder I made using a cone styrofoam and some muslin glitter sheets. I purchased these items in hope of creating something totally different, but somwhere in my makings, I went down this path of creating a calendar holder.
The calendar is from SRM Stickers and it is attached by a mini clothespin, allowing for the changing of each year. I covered the cone with the glitter sheet and then added the embellishments of white velvet ribbon and a rhinstone ribbon slide to look like a santa suit. I decorated the top with some rhinestone wire embellishments and lace ribbon. The clothespin is attached to a craft wire and the top and bottom of the cone is finished as well with the glitter paper. Makes for a fun calendar for the kids to keep an eye on Christmas!!
Well, I am off to complete my Christmas cards! I. Must. Finish!! : ) Hope you all have a fantastic day!

Sweet Treats Felt Bag
Well it's a rainy Monday here and getting cold. I can't believe it's the 10th already and I feel a bit overwhelmed getting the holiday necessities in order! But my husband has been working a training excercise at night, that he is sleeping in the day throwing my schedule off. Amazing how that can happen. lol!
Today, I want to share with you a sweet treats bag I made from felt and adapted from Toshs' blog. You can find her tutorial here. I used TCP's new topper dies for the fold down portion and the new Snow Kisses set for the stamped snowflakes. The sentiment 'Sweets' is stamped from the PTI set of spooky treats.
Here is a better view from the back that shows the topper die cut better.
To finish it off, I used the MFT snowflake die with a rhinestone brad in the corner using some white felt. Then some red and white twine to wrap around the top with a metal tag that says 'Happy Holidays' and some mini bells to the ends of the twine. Super easy and fun!!
Thank you for taking a peek and hope your day is dry and productive! : ) Have a great one!

Brown Noser
It's that time in the pig pen over at Hambo Stamps! It's changing of the guards with those of us who were working on the digi's these last 2 months are now working with the rubber collections. So to kick off the new term, I made a card with a great image and sentiment to boot for the holidays!
This image is Reindeer Gift and, well, he is just brown nosing his way to the big man I think! : ) I colored him with Prisma color pencils and gamsol while fluffing him with some flock on his outfit. I used MFT's die-namic doily die for the back panel and the snowflake die for the center of the ribbon. Here is a close up of the flock:
Be sure to head over to the hoedown to check out the new group of digi girls to see what they have created for this weeks challenge!!
I also wanted to quickly share with you a project I did this past weekend with some dollar store ornaments, a hanger, and a little hot glue. Makes for a super simple wreath that looks great!
It was a perfect addition to a wall in our living room to complete the decorations! Thanks for stopping by and hope you all have a great day!

Hearts Come Home for Christmas
Happy Monday!
Here is a card I made for MFT's SCS Sketch Challenge using an MFT Pure Innocence set.
I colored in the image with Copics while sponging around the edges and then sewing using my sewing machine. I used some Our Craft Lounge Sparkly Fluff in white for the fuzzy items and some snow glass glitter for the ground. The inside is also finished with the sentiment and the bottom picture is a close up of the glitter.
It's hard to believe that Christmas is really just around the corner and I feel like I do not have it together this year. But I have been focusing on the family and we are spending as much time together as we can for the holidays due to my husbands upcoming deployment. He has been busy training in a 24/7 operation for the next couple of weeks so our time is sporatic at the moment. And this is a good time for me to get in gear! lol! I am slowly getting caught up crafty wise but now I need to do our Christmas cards! Wowzer... a lot to do! : )
Thanks for stopping by and hope your day is stress free!! Have a great one!

Expecting the Big Guy?
Well think again! : )
This is an adorable stamp from The Cats Pajamas' new release! It's their 10 year anniversary and in limited quantities, they are going back to its' roots in producing this release in cling rubber! Fabulous! I created this for this weeks TCP Tues 238 of going vintage. UGH! That is a difficult challenge for me. I am not sure, but I can never do it right. But I think I did ok! : )
I also used the new Cut Up's Toppers which are are so much fun for creating backgrounds. I cut out additional trees for the scene and added some stickles for the snow tops. I colored in the image with Copics (and on the wrong cs might I add, so blending is sub par but I don't like to waste...) and popped him up. The stars are also from my topper set which I used for above the scene. DP is an oldie Cosmo Cricket collection of Winter Wonderland.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and enjoy your Saturday! I have SO much to catch up on here in the house! : (

Wishing for Summer... And Another Winner
Yes... How I wish it were summer again! As hot as it gets here, I'd rather have that instead of this cold!! Brrr.... I have a love hate with the cold. I love to bundle up, but then I get too hot doing errands or being inside places that I begin to peel away the layers and then left with a pile of clothes to hold! So, in the end, I would rather wear flip flops, shorts, and a t-shirt with an occassional sweater! With that in mind, I played along with Your Next Stamps SCS sketch challenge using an oldie but goodie stamp from them. I think its adorable, reminding me of my boys when they were young. You can find the sketch here.
I colored the image with Copics and used some Basic Grey scraps for the side panel. The card is a 4.5"x4.5" with a back black panel- perfect for tucking away inside a gift or lunch box. I finished it off with some white faux stitching I drew along the side black panel. Super CAS!
I have another candy winner too! That would be CATHY! Thanks to everyone who played along! I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for peeking in!

Hoedown with Basketball
Happy Wednesday! After a week break due to Thanksgiving, it's time to once again Hoedown with Hambo Stamps!
This weeks image is Basketball and the challenge is to take an inspiration from any of Hambo Stamps Pinterest boards for your creation. Here's the link to the two boards: http://pinterest.com/hambostamps/
My card was inspired by Lisa Lara'scard here:
I loved the simplicity of the card with the image being the focal point. I kept all my layers flush while the basketball is popped up and I added the "swish" to the ball. The image is colored in with Copics.
We hope you will play along with us this week and don't forget to stop by the hoedown to see what the other Bacon Bits created! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Peace on Earth... Blog Candy
Well it is back to the grind on a one way road to Christmas!
Todays card was made for yesterdays SCS CAS challenge here.
I used some silver shimmery dp for the back base while the snowflakes were cut using MFT's die-namics and then embossed with some glitter ep. I can't remember the last time I embossed but I am glad I did. It gives it a nice shimmer and no glitter falling off! : ) I popped up the snowflakes and finished it with a rhinestone in the center of each and a ribbon along the side. The sentiment is from Flourishes Peace set. (one of my favs!) This took little time to do and made for a pretty card for the holidays!
As mentioned, I have another blog candy giveaway to present! It is a Graphic 45 collection of dp's along with some embellishments.
I used a few sheets from each collection for a project I was doing so they are not 100% full. Also included is some ribbon, Prima Poinsettas, and a pack of felt flowers from We are Memory Keepers. All you have to do is leave a comment and I will pick a winner Thursday! Again, this only open to US residents.

Anniversary and Blog Candy Winner Day 3
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and enjoyed some great company while getting stuffed! With all the preparations of Thanksgiving I realized that I never picked a winner from Day 3! I apologize for that! So, the winner will get a little extra something in the package for this mistake of mine!
In the meantime, I made this anniversary card for my sister and her husband as it is quickly approaching the day! I always tend to be late as it is so close to Thanksgiving, it gets lost with all that hub bub! : ) Not this year!! I am ahead! Woot!
For this, I used MME's Madison Ave. dp and PTI's frame filler set #4. I finished it off with some lace ribbon and prima roses which I sponged over with a little brown to give it a vintage feel. Super easy with little stamping. Hopefully she will like it. : )
Before I get on to the winner, here is a little peek into our family before we dug into the bird! I think its funny that my husband had the bird turned the wrong way so now everyone gets the rear shot! Not quite as pretty, but luckily it was a small bird so not so caverness! : )
OK! Since everyone is a subscriber the chances were better! The winner is:
Donna, email me your address and I will get your goodies out to you! Stay tuned tomorrow as I will post another blog candy! Can you say Graphic 45? : )
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy today... not shopping!!

Thanksgiving Teacher Treats and Blog Candy Winner - Day 2
Today is the kids last day before the Thanksgiving break. I made them some treats similar to the witches hats I did for Halloween except they look like Pilgrims hats.
It started off as a factory line of frosting and peanut butter cups along with my favorite chocolate wafer cookies. I could have added little squares to mimic a buckle, but it was quite tedious and I didn't have the patience! :) When it was finished it looked like this:
I used some treat cups I found at Target and added some fun clear stickers to the front and placed 3 hats into it. I then placed them into a cellophane bag, tied it with some twine, and finished it off with some Autumn die cuts I had from K&CO stamped with Happy Thanksgiving. Something simple and can be mass produced. Hopefully the teachers will enjoy!
Well, it is day 2 of my blog winner for Saturdays candy of the Ella Blue collection. Here is the winner: CATHY!
Cathy, please send me your info so I can get your goodies out to you! Thanks for stopping by!

You Measure Up! And Blog Candy Winner - Day 1
Monday again! This Monday thing just keeps coming around faster each week! But, at least it is a very short week for all.
I would like to share a card made with Whimsie Doodles image of Measure up. I think he is just the cutest and perfect for a teacher or child. Perhaps even a handyman/lady? Hee hee... I could use one of them...
I colored the image with Copics and kept it CAS. I used scraps for the dp and colored banners. I finished it off with part of a border sticker from SRM Stickers at the top and some MS ribbon as well.
Easy Peasy!
Today is the first draw of my Blog Candy Weekend. And here is the winner from Fridays candy:

Blog Candy Weekend- Day 3
Another day, another blog candy post! :) I have survived the Thanksgiving grocery shop craziness today... I normally don't wait this late, but since this year it is just us with no family to share it with, I wasn't pressed to ensure it was all together earlier on. So, I got us a small turkey with no death match in the frozen isle- score! All in all, I am ready for a cooking extravaganza!
Today's candy includes three MFT sets that have retired and I have either used once or never. Also included is a spool of ribbon that is school themed and some Fiskars embellishments.
All you have to do is leave a comment and for this one, I will pull a name on Wednesday morning. As usual, followers/subscribers have an additional entry! Good luck!

Hambo Cornucopia
Autumn... I just love this time of the year! The leaves are falling, the air is crisp, and the nights are longer! :) You can't go though the season without incorporating a cornucopia to your home decor!
This week at the Hambo Hoedown, we are using the new image of Cornucopia along with the challenge of using burlap!
For this card, I colored in the image with Copics and cut it out. I popped it up on a doily cut out from MFT's die-namic duo set. I used some unknown dp with Kraft cs. I finished it with some burlap ribbon and the sentiment cut out using MFT's sentiment dies.
Come play along with us this week and show off your awesome creations! Hambo images please, but in return, you will receive next weeks image FREE!! Not too shabby! Be sure to stop by the Hoedown to see what all the other fabulous Bacon Bits created! Thanks for popping in and have a wonderful Wednesday!

Veterans Day (late)
A day late, but I hope you all had a great long weekend this holiday and I also hope you thanked a veteran for their service to our country!
In honor of my veteran, I made a card to thank him for his selfless service using MFT's Pure Innocence Soldier Boy.
I paper pieced his uniform and colored in his hat and skin with Copics. I used yesterdays CAS challenge on SCS for the sketch. There is a panel popped up that lays down all the elements while next to the sentiment are two scored lines. I finished it off using some twine while the dp is from CTMH that I have had forever!! I actually forgot about it! Terrible, I know... : )
Here is a picture of my veteran and I can't thank him enough for doing what he does for our family and yours!

Here is a picture of my veteran and I can't thank him enough for doing what he does for our family and yours!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic day!

A Creative Santa- CYDI
Happy Thursday all!
I wanted to share with you an image from Can You Digi It? called A Creative Santa. I really liked this image and thought it would make for a nice card.
I colored in the image with Copics and cut him out. I used some dp from Paper Studio and finished it off some green sheer ribbon and a felt flower from Jolee. I added some gold accent wire balls to place inside the flower for an additional element. I figured that the dp was busy enough with Christmas sentiments that I left off an actual sentiment. I may add one later but for now, I think it is ok! :)
I think it has been long enough since I have posted any Blog Candy. I am gathering some items up so keep your eyes peeled! That is about it for today and I am off running! Crazy busy today.... Thanks so much for popping in!
