Now...on to our challenge...
I am excited to be your hostess this week for this gorgeous sneaky peek and my challenge to see clearly on it. In other words, use acetate in your project or card! :) That's right, time to dust off those unused clear sheets of "paper" to create something fabulous!
For my project, I created a card using the acetate as its cover to highlight the image on the inside. I cut my base layer for a 5.5"x5.5" size card and trimmed the top for just enough to fold over to act like the connection between the acetate and the card. I used my scallop die to make that connection and adhered the acetate to that cut. Here is a side view:
You can see that I have stamped my image on the inside panel with Memento Tuxedo Black, but I also stamped it again and colored it in with my Copics using the following collections in addition to a few single colors:
Once the image was colored, I cut it out to pop it up over the stamped image on the inside panel. I used some patterned paper from MME The Sweetest Thing for the chevron background over some basic black cardstock. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the acetate using black Staz On ink and the card was finished with some black seam binding ribbon and self adhesive rhinestones. Here is a closer look of the cut out image on the inside:
Today we have both our Flourishes Finest Design Team AND our Friends of Flourishes Team sharing their "Seeing Clearly" inspirations with you! Take a moment and leave some love on all of our designers' blogs for your chance to win this gorgeous new stamp set.
