If you have missed a birthday like I have, this card definitely does! :)
Today's SCS Sketch challenge is a simple sketch perfect for a quick card. I played along using Hambo Stamps clear set of Skunk and made a belated birthday card.
You can also find this yummy paper by Theresa Collins at Hambo Stamps too called Stationary Noted. So fun! I stamped the image with Memento Black and colored in the flowers with my Copics. I then used my Mega punch to punch out the image to pop up over the strip layer after sponging the edges and adding a few dots. I finished the card by adding a small sheer bow and sentiment. Now looking at it, I am thinking I may have wanted to add a button or some other small embellishment... hmm... that's ok. It has to be mailed anyway, so the less lumpy, the better chance of it arriving in one piece! :)
If you haven't already checked out the Hambo Hoedown challenge, it's a fun one! The challenge is to use a map somewhere in your project! Head on over to see the fabulous creations made by some of the Bacon Bits!
Thanks for popping in and have a great day!
What a fun, *sweet-smelling* card!! LOVE that you used the TC paper - I love that collection. Works so great with those red flowers and the skunk's black/white!
ReplyDeleteThis is great Deborah! I love the colors and the sketch is perfect for your card. After our recent CASE challenge, I keep seeing ones I want to CASE... :)
