Happy FriYay!
It is another Friday challenge on the YNS blog. The colors and sketch are perfect for some holiday project making! I decided to whip out my Happy Haunting die set to create this Halloween scene.
Using the sketch, I used the open window to place the fun spider web in the corner. I added in the spider on top and of course, you can leave out a cute ghost from being part of the in-crowd. The patterned paper is from Doodlebug & Co while the sentiment is from Waddles Trick or Treat set. I thought the new Washi Tape die set was perfect for the sentiment giving it a "haunting" feel. The card was finished with some Spellbound gumdrops for a pop of color.
Be sure to visit the YNS Blog to see all the awesome creations my fellow DT members have made. You will not be disappointed! Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great weekend.

Your Next Stamp DT Dare
Hi y'all! Today is Your Next Stamp DT dare and the theme is all about Getting Inky. This is such a fun theme and the DT did not disappoint.
For my card, I am using the new set of Autumn Animals for the main images and for my inky background, I used the Paint Swooshes and Splatter set.
The patterned paper is the new YNS Fabulous Fall collection while the images were stamped and colored in with Copics before cutting them out using the coordinating dies. I popped the images over the splatter background after stamping them randomly using different color momento inks. The card was completed with a few different gumdrops for my usual extra sparkle.
Don't forget to stop by the YNS Blog to see all the great creations and leave a little love. A random comment will be drawn to win a stamp set of your choice! Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great rest of the week!

The Cat's Pajamas Stamp - September New Release and Blog Hop
It's here - The Cat's Pajamas Stamps new release for September! This is such a fun release ready with awesome stamps, dies, and cuttable files. Come take a look...
If you arrived here from the ever talented Brenda's blog, then you are in the right place. Otherwise, start from the beginning on Julie's blog..
I am sharing with you a card using the new set of Creep It Real. Is this just not the cutest ever? And those sentiments make me laugh, perfect for the season.
This card was made sponging the sky with some black, purple, and gray inks. Before sponging, I masked off the moon so I could pop up the image over it. The bottom was sponged in some beige inks and a little white craft ink for a foggy look. For the trees, I used the stem from the Big Blooms set for the main stump and branches. The thinner branches were hand drawn in. I stamped the image and colored her in with Copics before cutting her out The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed in black and the card was finished with a few rhinestones for stars.

New Release Sneak Peek for The Cat's Pajamas
Happy Monday everyone! I know it is not a happy day for those living in Florida, to include my in-laws. I do hope those living in the sunshine state remained safe and out of this angry storm. And to make this Monday just a little more somber, it is the 16th anniversary of 9/11. Please take a moment today to remember both Floridians and those who lost their lives during the attacks of 9/11.
On a happier note, it is Sneaky Peek Week for the Cat's Pajamas Stamps and I am bringing up the final line up in this week of awesome creations.
Today, I have two cards to share with you and first up is a CAS Christmas card using the soon to be released set of Christmas Cookies. Such a fun and elegant set at the same time.
I started dry embossing the main panel before die cutting and stamping the image onto the ornament. After stamping in the gray ink color, I went back over the image with Versamark and some clear silvery glitter embossing powder and heat embossing the image. For the bow, I used the super fun Easy Stitched Bow to add to the top of the ornament before using some silver thread to "hang" it.
My second card is another CAS but colorful Christmas card using the new Big Holiday Words set. There are so many possibilities of what you can make with this set. I just love it!
I used some plaid holiday patterned paper and layered some solid cardstock on top fishtailed. The heat embossed the sentiment and finished the card with a few rhinestones for sparkle.
Don't forget to stop by tomorrow to join in on our new release blog hop! You can have a chance to win a TCP Gift Certificate just for leaving some love along the way. Thanks for stopping in and hope you have a great day!

September New Release and Blog Hop - Your Next Stamp
Alright alright! It is time for the Your Next Stamp new release and blog hop! Did you see all the awesome creations the DT put together? There is no shortage of cuteness and enabling, that is for sure! :)
First up is my card using the new Washi Sentiments and Washi die and the new Links Border die. This is a CAS card that came to mind using some fun foam.
I used some patterned paper from the Birthday Girl collection and adhered it with some double sided sheets to some fun foam before running the link die over it a few times. I then added it to the front panel along with the sentiment stamped from the Washi Sentiment set and coordinating die.
For my second card, I made it a little more whimsical using the new Ripped Rectangle dies to make some windows over the new Fabulous Fall patterned paper. The images are from the new Peek a BOO and I stamped them so it was as though they were peeking out. I used the small Tear Away die for the bottom portion to reveal the sentiment of Peek a Boo and the Happy Halloween on the outside. There is a closer look below.
So many different projects you can create with this release ready for Autumn. Of course allow me to help you make your decision making easier by sharing with you the awesome sale Karen is having. 20% off your entire purchase!! You are welcome. : )
Be sure to keep hopping along and leaving a little love for your chance at winning a $25 YNS gift certificate! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
Sneak Peek - September New Release - Your Next Stamp
Happy Saturday everyone!
It's time to show a little bit of the September new release for Your Next Stamp! This is such fun collection of fall items along with some super fun new dies!
For my sneak peek, I am using the new set of Autumn Animals. Ack! How cute are they? And they are a smaller size which makes for great tags, small cards, or if you pair it up with the new Insta Love die set, can make for a great scene, which you will see that a few of the DT members did. We all must have been channeling the same ideas. :)
I too used the Insta Love die set to create a few "pictures" of these autumn animals. I layered them on top of the panel cut out using the YNS Scallop Rectangle die set. The patterned paper is the new Fabulous Fall collection and I just know I will run out of that!
The animals were colored in with Copic and cut out using the coordinating die set before popping up in the frame. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the panel and shocked myself by not adding any embellishments to this card. I always love a little bling! :)
Don't forget to check out all the fabulous creations on the YNS Blog and be sure to pop back in tonight when we have our new release Blog Hop and the store will open for you to purchase all the fun items on your list you viewed today!
Thanks for stopping by and we will see you tonight!

A Little Birdie... Your Next Stamp Friday Challenge
Happy Friday!
It's a new sketch and color challenge over on the YNS Blog! The sketch has so many possibilities of what you can create and colors are perfect for wanting you to feel the weather of the upcoming fall season.
I used the sketch for my card and the newly released set of Party Pets.
To start, I used some navy cardstock and layered it using the Birthday Boy paper collection from YNS. The new Scalloped Rectangle for my second layer which I then stamped the Alpha Splatter in YNS Gray Stone ink and colored in a few letters to match. The image was stamped and the present paper pieced before being popped up. The card was finished with the sentiment stamped and fishtailed to be popped up in the middle and some fun gumdrops on the bottom.
Don't forget to stop by the YNS Blog to see all the fabulous creations the DT have put together and thanks for stopping by!
