Your Next Stamp Friday Challenge - Merry Christmas

It's another Friday challenge over at Your Next Stamp.  The sketch and color combo is so much fun and can make for some great holiday creations.

For my card, I kept it CAS to showcase this patterned paper I love from Carta Bella's Christmas Delivery collection.  That became the focus cutting out the shape with the YNS Circles with Stitching and Dots layered dies.

I then used the Christmas Words die set  for the sentiment that I ran through my Xyron sticker maker to make the words easier to stick! The card was finished with some Silver Tinsel Gumdrops and this makes for an easy Christmas card that you can punch out quickly or make multiple times.

We hope you do play along with us for you to link up your creation for a chance to win a YNS Gift Certificate! Thanks for stopping in and hope you have a great Friday!

Your Next Stamp DT Dare - CASE It!

Happy Wednesday!

It's that time to share with you our monthly DT Dare over on the YNS Blog and this month we are CASEing someone on the team.

For my card, I CASE'd a card by Laura called Hey Foxy!  I love the CAS look and I had an idea to change it up a bit using the fun Holiday Lights Die and an image from Smiley Happy Critter Crew.

The patterned paper is a newly released collection called Winter Plaid. I just love it.  Perfect for many occassions.  I stamped the image and colored him in with Copics before cutting him out.  I used the Stitched Square die for the center panel and added the Holiday lights over it and a little on the head of the cute dog. The dog is popped  up while the sentiment is stamped directly onto the patterned paper.

Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog to see all the inspiration from the team.  Leave a little love while you are there for your chance to win a stamp set of your choice.  Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great hump day!

2016 In Review Blog Hop - Your Next Stamp

It's hard to believe that 2016 is quickly coming to an end.  Every year seems to pass quicker than the last, doesn't it? The DT at Your Next Stamp have come up with different projects spotlighting a favorite set that was released this year and there are some wonderful creations made!

For my card, I am using Little Notes. This set is not only cute, but very versatile when making something for someone who may need a little encouraging. Or to get better if they are under the weather.  I made this card for my son who really needed a pick me up and just didn't think he was so "awesome." Well, I of course, do think he's awesome and I wanted to be sure he knew. :)

Using white card stock for the base, I knew I wanted to keep this CAS since it was for a boy. No frills for my little, that's for sure! Some patterned paper from Crate paper was used, while I used some brown colored card stock to cut out the clipboard to adhere the "paper" to. The paper image was stamped with YNS Stone Grey ink and cut out using the coordinating die set.  I stamped the sentiment directly onto the paper and cut out the clip using the same ink and die set.  The whole thing was then popped up.  I completed the look with adding the 'notes' cut out and some fun gumdrops to mix. Hopefully this will be just what he needs to perk him right up.

Be sure to continue to hop along and a leave a comment along the way.  You can win a $25 gift certificate to the YNS Store just leaving a little love.  Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great weekend!

Christmas Tag - Feature Day - Your Next Stamp

Happy Tuesday!

Today is Feature Day over at Your Next Stamp and it's all about Tags! I love making tags, so this was right up my alley.  I decided to make a tag using some of the fun holiday dies that YNS offers in the shop.

For my tag, I used the Stitched Square Frame die set for my main tag shape and size.

Using the frame, I added a Christmas tree using the Create a Christmas Tree die set with some patterned paper, some "icicles" using the Dripping Goo die, and the words at the bottom using the Christmas Words die set. Here is a closer look:

For the finishing touch, I added some glitter and Stickles to the icicles and some sparkle to the star using my Wink of Stella pen.  The string was added to the tag using some red Divine Twine.

Be sure to stop over at the YNS Blog to see all the fun creations made by the DT.  And don't forget to leave a little love there so you can be entered to win a stamp set of your choice! Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great Tuesday!

If not, check out the details here so you can upload your creation and  have a chance to win a TCP Gift Certificate.  This week is the second week of the Stars challenge and I have a card with Thanksgiving in mind.

I started with a Kraft card stock base and lined the bottom with some patterned paper from AC.  Using the TCP Star Rosette cut up, I cut it out with a coordinating patterned paper and added the Grapevine wreath cut up to the center. I used the Wreath Building Set for the sentiment which I fussy cut out once stamped.  The sentiment scroll was layered over a star from the 3x3 Stars cut ups, while the smaller star and mini were popped up.  The card was finished with a thin strip of plaid patterned paper.

We hope you share your creation on the TCP Blog.  Be sure to check out all the fabulous creations made by awesome creative people like yourself! Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great week!

Ice Princess - Your Next Stamp DT Dare

It's time for some Winter fun inspiration from the YNS DT for this month's DT Dare! The theme is Winter Fun and there are plenty of whimsical sets released this month to show off those fun inspirations.

For my card, I used the newly released set of Sports Fanatic Skating Fun set along with its coordinating dies.

I created the Winter scene using the newly released Little Village set along with last months release of Evergreen Trees die and Winter Scene die.  Some yellow card stock was added to the back of the homes to mimic a "glow" on the inside. The ice skate was colored with Copics and glitter added to the main part of the shoe.  Is it called a shoe? Or maybe the boot?  Well, hopefully no one is upset with my lack of knowledge in this area of skating. :)  The coordinating dies for the stamp was used to cut out the skate to pop up and the figure 8 marking.  The sentiment was stamped directly onto the main panel and the card was finished by adding some Stickles for a little sparkle.

Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog to see all the fun wintery creations and leave a little love.  Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great day!

November Release and Blog Hop - Your Next Stamp

It's that time again! Time for another fabulous release with Your Next Stamp!

There are so many fun sets and dies that will help round up your holiday creations and make some super cute projects.  I couldn't get enough of Silly Monsters Snow Fun that I had to include another with my tags I made using the Holiday Postage set.

With the Holiday Postage set, there are so many ways you can create something fun and unique. For me, I really wanted to create some tags with it.  Using the Cool Tag three set, I cut out the tag using some patterned paper from EP and then layered it with the images.  This set makes for a great way to decorate your holiday envelopes as well!

The Silly Monsters really speak for itself with the hot chocolate fun he seems to be having.  It is the perfect drink for the season while it is chilly.  This image was colored with Copics and cut out using the coordinating die set, while the mug was paper pieced.

Now you know Karen is always super generous with her release sales. This release she is giving 20% OFF your entire order! Perfect for getting everything on your list.

Be sure to continue the hop and leave a comment along the way for your chance to win a $25 gift certificate to YNS! Thanks for hopping by!

November Sneaky Peeks - Your Next Stamp

It's that wonderful time of the month! Time for another Your Next Stamp release and you will want to get your list ready.

For my card, I am using the ever cute and fun set of Silly Monsters Snow Fun.  I couldn't resist using the large spinner/slider die set to create this fun scene of sledding down the hill.

The image was colored with Copics and cut out using the coordinating die set.  I set aside the image and worked on the background by using some paper from MME for the sky and with some white cardstock, I cut out the scene using the Houses on a hill die.  The other hills were hand cut before cutting out the slider portion on the top panel.  I added the image to my slider disc and the sentiment is glued to the back so it travels with the silly monster.  The card was completed by adding some crystal Stickles to the houses and dotted throughout the back panel.

Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog to see the other creations by the DT and don't forget to leave a little love! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Warm Winter Wishes - Your Next Stamp

Happy Friday everyone!

It's another challenge over at Your Next Stamp and it's perfect to showcase your Halloween creation.  For my card, I fast forwarded the season to Winter to create this cute scene using Ice Skating Phoebe.

To create the background, I used the Snowfall Panel die and airbrushed the sky with my Copics. I used the Winter Scene die for the background scenery and hand cut the snow hills for the two layers below that.  The patterned paper was used for the ice to skate on.  Phoebe and the trees were colored with Copics and cut out using the coordinating die set.  For the trees and earmuffs, I used some flock for a little added texture. The images were popped up and the card was finished with some rhinestones for sparkle and the sentiment across the top.

Stop by the YNS Blog to see the other creations some of the DT members have created.  Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek.  Have a great weekend!

Have A Blast! Your Next Stamp Feature Day

Happy Saturday!
I hope you all having a great start to the weekend and have some warm weather to enjoy.  Unfortunately, our warm weather here has packed up and sent in the cold to replace him.  It was nice for a while to have some flip flop weather in the middle of Fall.

Today is Feature Day over on the YNS Blog and the DT have shared some awesome projects using the theme of Favorite Technique.  For me, my favorite technique is creating a scene using stamps and dies.

This card was made using the Blast Off set to create the scene of space as he is taking off.  I used the newly release Snowfall Panel die over some black card stock which I layered over a white base to give it the look of stars.  Once the image was colored with Copics and cut out using the coordinating dies, the rocket was popped up over the black panel. The stars were cut out with the same die set and placed in various spots. To add some more sparkle, some Silver Tinsel Gumdrops and small rhinestones were used throughout. The sentiment is stamped and popped up across the center.

Be sure to stop by the YNS blog to see all the wonderful creations and leave a little love for your chance to win a stamp set of your choice! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek here.  Have a great weekend!

Your Next Stamp - Designer Showcase - Halloween

Hello!

Each day this week, Your Next Stamp is sharing with you all projects the DT have come up for Halloween. Today I would like to share with you a few things to give some good treats to your favorite person.

For the drink, I used the set Tricky Tonic to decorate the front.  The image was stamped and colored in with Copics before using the coordinating dies to cut it out.  This was popped up over the cut out from the Doily Trio One set and the dripping goo was placed at the top. This was completed with a spider on the end of his "web" glittered, as was the eyes and nose on the skull.  A black and white paper straw finished this look with the sentiment at the bottom.  For the treat bag, I used the die set called Cute Shopping Bag to be able to place in a small bag of treats.  The outside was decorated with the scallop circle and tag with the sentiment in the center.  A cute candy corn image from the Fab-boo-lous set was used to complete the look.

I hope I was able to help in a few Halloween treat ideas! Thanks so much for stopping in! Have a great Tuesday!

For this card, I used the soon to be released Cut Up Scalloped Duo for the center cut out through the patterned paper. It was placed over a white piece of cardstock which the image was stamped onto and the cup was paper pieced.  I added a fishtailed banner to the top with the sentiment stamped directly onto it and finished the card with a few buttons.

Day 3 of sneaky peeks with The Cat's Pajamas Stamps.  This set we are showing is such a beautiful set and perfect for those elegant cards you may want to make where the funny, tongue in cheek sentiments just doesn't go. : )

I love the beauty of this set with the many options it offers.  I decided to showcase this one with the ornaments from the branch for a CAS look.

I gave the branch an ombre type of look using 3 different Momento colors and then embossing it in clear.  Using the smaller stars in the set, I embossed in a gold glitter that before coloring in the ornaments with Copics.  I added a little white gel pen to that for a little pop of color.  The sentiment was also stamped and embossed in clear to match the dimension of the leaves.  I completed the card with some mini rhinestones for spahkle!
