Happy Mail

Hi everyone!! Sorry for the sporadic postings but it has been busy here with end of school year things, family visiting, and the never ending DR visits for my kids.  I am still waiting for my own parking space there...

Today I pulled out the so cute line of Pure Innocence by My Favorite Things.  It's pure cuteness!

I used Nikki Sivils's Victoria Street DP as the background layered with SU! River Rock.  The image was stamped and colored in with Copics. I added some sparkle which  you can't really see to the grass line and heart using my water color sparkle palette. ( I can't remember the actual name!) I popped up the image and sentiment while finishing it off with a Prima flower and some ribbon.

Stay tuned for tomorrows sketch challenge with Our Craft Lounge! It's a another fun one you don't want to miss!!  I hope you have a great Thursday!

You Nailed It! OCLDT14

Happy Friday everyone!! It's time for Our Craft Lounges' weekly sketch challenge!  The deets are here.  Below is the sketch and its a fun one!! I hope you can play... you can win some awesome OCL products!

I used a set called Nailed It which is a great masculine set and perfect for that man in your life who likes to tinker and build!

This is a 5.5"x5.5" card.  I stamped and masked the jars to have a set and added a few nails below that. I then used some "wooden" style dp by Paper Studio as the accent and stamped along the bottom with the nails that makes for a fun border.  I highlight the jar top and nails with my Lipstick Red Copic marker and stamped the sentiment with SU! Real Red.  I cut out the main panel and image circles with my Spellbinder Nesties  and popped up the image.  I used three different ribbon scraps in the same colors as my card and finished off the card!

Be sure to play along as we all can't wait to see what you come up with!! Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek!

Dirty Laundry along with OCLDT11

That title is the story of my life it seems! My boys produce enough of it to keep the detergent companies in business and me to be the folding machine! : )  I love this set from Our Craft Lounge called Spin Cycle! I also used the sketch from OCLDT11 here  to complete the card.

I colored in the images with my Copics and used the masking technique for the laundry.  I used my Nesties to cut out the image and pop it up on the card along with the sentiment which was stamped in Momento Bamboo ink.  I colored the edge of my die cut out with my Black Copic for the look of layering but didn't.  The DP is K&CO; the ribbon is American Crafts.  I used SU! Kraft and a layering black cardstock for the center panels.

Super simple and perfect for any woman! We are all successful and we all have laundry! LOL!! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!! Have a great day!!

Fabulous Flowers- OCLDT13

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I had a usual busy weekend with games and just being with the kids! It's been hard to keep them in the house with the weather being warm and the water guns, bikes, and balls just calling out to them! :)

Friday was Our Craft Lounges weekly sketch and I hope you can play along! You can win some fabulous OCL products! You can find the deets here.

Here is my card:

I used OCL's set called Fabulous Flowers an I just love it! There are many options to using this set.  For the card, I stamped and cut out the flower three times and the smaller one as well.  I stamped the larger one with SU! PIP and sponged around it with SU! Regal Rose which is also the color of the smaller flower.  I popped up the smaller one in the center and rolled all the petals with my finger to give it some dimension.  Because the flowers were the same color as the center panel, I punched out white circles to place the flowers on top before placing them on the panel.  Once on, I then added some glue to the center and edges of the smaller flower and added some Crafty Sparkles.  I stamped and cut out the swirls in Bamboo Momento ink and popped up those as well.  The center panel was cut out using my Nesties in Labels one and I doubled up and sewed the ribbon through the center; DP is Imagincise.  I finished it off with some metal dots at the ends.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek! Have a great day!
