I am not sure about you, but it is just now beginning to feel and look like Autumn here. It is the last week to play along with The Cat's Pajamas Stamps TCPTUES373 of Autumn. The Cat Pack have made some awesome creations with the newest release to include some fantastic felt crafts. If you haven't had a chance to check it out, head over to the <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/blog">TCP Blog</a> to see all the fun crafty creations.</p><p>For my card in this challenge, I am using the new release Cut Up of <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/product/stitched-tree-duo/">Stitched Tree Duo</a> to make this Autumn card of falling leaves. Remember Basic Grey? I still have many of their patterned paper packs, because, well I really liked them. I used some of that patterned paper as the background of the card after cutting out the center with the frame of the Cut Up. I then placed back in the tree cutout before popping up and placing around the leaves I cut out in various colors.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBctwt9zNz7jndUrBXru2NKyktlShY7-RC1X21k4BZEz5vBvq6PyZhUMlVgnO1Be0u2PlZ-uvk3-WUPhRpbC4oM22LZTv3VjLiReYM8soEdsgsmWfIOd-IBOJSTLAzMl4GgZw4Yo-Qzl8/s2048/Welcome-Autumn.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2009" data-original-width="2048" height="393" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBctwt9zNz7jndUrBXru2NKyktlShY7-RC1X21k4BZEz5vBvq6PyZhUMlVgnO1Be0u2PlZ-uvk3-WUPhRpbC4oM22LZTv3VjLiReYM8soEdsgsmWfIOd-IBOJSTLAzMl4GgZw4Yo-Qzl8/w400-h393/Welcome-Autumn.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p>The sentiment was stamped directly onto the base and finished with a few self adhesive pearls. I really like the simplicity of this tree cutout against the patterned paper. Feels Fall like to me! I hope you all have a great Tuesday and thanks for popping in!</p>Deborah Antonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08947096903660009052noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8695085961086234587.post-48510002826659977702020-09-29T07:46:00.001-04:002020-09-29T07:52:56.443-04:00The Cat's Pajamas Stamps New Release Day Blog Hop - Tea Time<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/wp-content/uploads/Sept2020BlogHop.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="400" src="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/wp-content/uploads/Sept2020BlogHop.png" /></a></div><p></p><p>It's release day with The Cat's Pajamas Stamps!! I hope you all enjoyed and saw all the wonderful sneak peeks. The kitty cat pack outdid themselves with their creations and projects!</p><p>Today, you can see some final projects using the newest products and the pack does not disappoint! Start <b><span style="font-size: medium;"><a href="https://poeticartistry.blogspot.com/2020/09/september-2020-tcp-new-release-blog-hop.html">HERE</a></span></b> for the blog hop with the fabulous Julee. </p><p>For my card, I created one using the new <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/product/alice-stamp-set/" target="_blank">Alice</a> stamp set and the new <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/product/clock-stencilz/" target="_blank">Clock</a> Stencilz. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuQiBlY5KTilOh8_hOXetyxQvMg7byBw2hwT3fVrZhOslGFNtgiMKxGOrypkGwFpJVp-JbfLhgvr5wg1pluTBewIM84CfVCWtKg3oRbSD360JThy4UymPbE70eo-lpqQeLYgOSe4DRh3s/s2048/Tea+time.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1669" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuQiBlY5KTilOh8_hOXetyxQvMg7byBw2hwT3fVrZhOslGFNtgiMKxGOrypkGwFpJVp-JbfLhgvr5wg1pluTBewIM84CfVCWtKg3oRbSD360JThy4UymPbE70eo-lpqQeLYgOSe4DRh3s/w522-h640/Tea+time.jpg" width="522" /></a></div><br /><p>The colors I used brought out the vintage look and I went with creating it with that look. I used some Distress Inks and the TCP Big Beautiful Blending Brush to go over the stencilz. I used two colors to get the look and that panel was attached to some lace ribbon I had in my stash. Ribbon.. remember that? I find myself not really using it as much as I used to, but I still love it. How about you? Anyway, I digress.. The image was stamped and colored in with Copics before using the coordinating dies to cut it out and pop it over the top panel. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the top panel and finished the card with a few self adhesive pearls. </p><p>Thanks for popping in and taking a peek! Make it a great one!</p>Deborah Antonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08947096903660009052noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8695085961086234587.post-84956561182850384422020-09-26T00:00:00.001-04:002020-09-26T00:00:03.473-04:00The Cat;s Pajamas Stamps - Sneaky Peek Day 5 - Slimline Dies<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtjtYmbpDlkt_tVddOSqwSu8gdty-kDcsQa6fETW-DqIi-DlV1Kp0eefL-IGbtJWed78WdUn0aECoushstm2Vkd5nLJvEVzsIJMCnsYKhoPQFE9hEh_bz9BWIzKnHFMhMygW1H7TqdM6o/s313/5Sept20.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="313" data-original-width="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtjtYmbpDlkt_tVddOSqwSu8gdty-kDcsQa6fETW-DqIi-DlV1Kp0eefL-IGbtJWed78WdUn0aECoushstm2Vkd5nLJvEVzsIJMCnsYKhoPQFE9hEh_bz9BWIzKnHFMhMygW1H7TqdM6o/s0/5Sept20.png" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>It's day 5 of The Cat's Pajamas Stamps and today is all about the fun Cut Ups called Slimline Dies. Both are beautiful dies that make card making easy and if you are needing bulk amounts, these dies will help. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPwnyI78Lp7ssfDis1SG4RBpmZWSt9IbFIP2XzHn9Kg7xXNfmCF9K4DNJZxsE_8iFeobeSMgqCFLjLyRXjc5Tla7KX9tk_dYRjcnRp4-YwC2C7pOBHxuc_cnb7c2aI6SObDyxzrlRTCic/s2048/Happy+Winter.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1120" height="800" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPwnyI78Lp7ssfDis1SG4RBpmZWSt9IbFIP2XzHn9Kg7xXNfmCF9K4DNJZxsE_8iFeobeSMgqCFLjLyRXjc5Tla7KX9tk_dYRjcnRp4-YwC2C7pOBHxuc_cnb7c2aI6SObDyxzrlRTCic/w438-h800/Happy+Winter.jpg" width="438" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="text-align: left;">This card started with some heavy card stock in cream and used the same card stock to cut out the Cardinal Duo and the Hello Winter. Using some red card stock, I cut out just the piece of the duo where the cardinal is situated to glue on top of the cream duo cut out. The same red card stock cut out was used for Hello Winter. Once I knew where I wanted the cardinal duo to be placed, I brushed in a little yellow and orange distress inks for a background using the <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/product/big-beautiful-blending-brush/">TCP Big Beautiful Blending Brush</a>. If you haven't gotten yourself one, you must!! It is a tool you need in your stash. The duo was popped up using some foam tape and the Hello Winter was doubled layered to give it an outline. This was also popped up. I finished the card by spraying lightly over the card some shimmer water that I made, adding some glitter to the cardinal, a few muted rhinestones, and a thin strip of card stock to the bottom.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="text-align: left;">We hope you are able to play along with the Cat Pack to create some slimline cards! The time has arrived for the <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/">The Cat's Pajamas Stamps</a> July New Release and Blog Hop!! Woot!! If you have arrived from the creative <a href="http://stampingasfastasican-brenda.blogspot.com/2020/07/the-cats-pajamas-july-release-and-blog.html">Brenda's</a> blog, you are in the right spot! </div><div>We hope you have enjoyed the week of Sneaky Peeks and it helped get your holiday mojo started. This release is has got me ready for the holidays but really... it has gotten me for the end of 2020! LOL! </div><div><br /></div><div>For this card, I am using the new Cut Up of <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/">Little Truck</a> along with the new release set of Oh Holy Night and one of my favorite Cut Ups - Evergreen Trees.</div><div><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiay0JxzdCIlp-_73L4OgiQF0ZaYV_LO0ymIl0x5mGoTHczwyVFcmij05_9jEZ7v776ngKRCIJWl1mSJjCmfgzOFG-lfKrItGnB_wV3JeEJfOV7780mcbAX0d96yC4lq8wGwhWuUlz8Qs/s2048/Oh+what+fun.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1799" data-original-width="2048" height="549" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiay0JxzdCIlp-_73L4OgiQF0ZaYV_LO0ymIl0x5mGoTHczwyVFcmij05_9jEZ7v776ngKRCIJWl1mSJjCmfgzOFG-lfKrItGnB_wV3JeEJfOV7780mcbAX0d96yC4lq8wGwhWuUlz8Qs/w625-h549/Oh+what+fun.jpg" width="625" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>I used the Evergreen Trees for the background and then using the TCP Big Beautiful Blending Brush, I brushed in the sky and ground with some Distress Inks. I added a few trees to the back of the truck from the Oh Holy Night set and directions to Santa. The card was finished with a touch of Stickles to the tops of the trees.</div><div><br /></div><div>This next card was fun to make using the new Peek-a-boo Frames. I like to call it the slice of cheese. Because it just does! : ) I stamped and colored in the adorable image with Copics before cutting him out with the coordinating die and popping him up. Some of the circle bits from that layered die was used in the negative spots and outside of it. The sentiment was stamped on the banner piece and popped up. This is such a fun set that can even be used outside of Christmas if you don't use the sentiments. : ) Throw in the coordinating dies and you will have your self some awesome cut outs to create a beauty.</div><div><br /></div><div>For this card, I started with a black base before layering it with a white panel. I stamped and cut out various foliage and pine cones to create a little bunch. I popped up some of the foliage and adhered others to give it dimension. I added a red fishtail banner with the sentiment and finished it off with some self adhesive rhinestones and some Stickles on the pine cones. There always needs to be sparkle...</div><div><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN2fDTt0zAV9Ga62XbNcpb8orgeKqbw0qNR7vJ3syDbGcSRGngZbmbeVeIyOl9JoyuWXab5RNhvk9NSlUevPajIoA5gRixBH0xUj9YQm1KGL9m3mEyXI37SdUdkaQQsj3oL5H-CX8kCSI/s2048/Christmas+Tree.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1492" height="625" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN2fDTt0zAV9Ga62XbNcpb8orgeKqbw0qNR7vJ3syDbGcSRGngZbmbeVeIyOl9JoyuWXab5RNhvk9NSlUevPajIoA5gRixBH0xUj9YQm1KGL9m3mEyXI37SdUdkaQQsj3oL5H-CX8kCSI/w455-h625/Christmas+Tree.jpg" width="455" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>For this card, using the same set, I thought I would do a chalkboard-ish style card. Using a black panel, I used my white Hero Arts white stamp pad to stamp the sentiment and sprigs in the corner. I then sprayed some homemade shimmer water onto the top and used my heat gun to set it. It still needed a little something that I decided to use my red Prismacolor pencil to outline 'jolly' and went over a few spots with my white pencil. Then I highlighted other areas with my white gel pen. </div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8JPasZVCnXPv4zjDTVlHGzMcrXb_uIPKBXOgcXjbJafyQZncEnF0rLo9jNzEomV0eLqaJ5Az_aa0Iaz7uaOtHsi2HK-DE52ro8Tv_fvRvmnY_O80YoUXnIDBWQRg_ecLQV2pYi77ecSc/s2048/Jolly+Christmas.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1539" height="625" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8JPasZVCnXPv4zjDTVlHGzMcrXb_uIPKBXOgcXjbJafyQZncEnF0rLo9jNzEomV0eLqaJ5Az_aa0Iaz7uaOtHsi2HK-DE52ro8Tv_fvRvmnY_O80YoUXnIDBWQRg_ecLQV2pYi77ecSc/w469-h625/Jolly+Christmas.jpg" width="469" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b><font size="5">Are you</font></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b><font size="5"><br /></font></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/wp-content/uploads/InitJul2020.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="515" data-original-width="338" src="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/wp-content/uploads/InitJul2020.png" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Just leave a little love during the sneaky peeks and you can have a chance at winning a TCP Store gift certificate! I hope you all are staying healthy and doing well!<br />
<br />
There is still plenty of time for you to get a little crafty and play along with the Cat Pack for TCPTUES Challenge of Sharing Hope. For my card, I turned the super bear from the set <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/product/super/">Super</a> in to a super doctor. These hard working medical professionals all around the world deserve all the recognition and thanks possible. Where do you even begin? They are providing a selfless service to the public while sacrificing their own families. Thank you to all who are still working to keep our fridges full and providing meals to those in need. Just thank you....<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWONX1Hv05BGzsgB7-xVMYs6aFbkhVc38lONqwY_CcwG7KuONfoVIU4vuzKRKvgrF7H5kPK4iIluvBs21ga74SvKzuo0CJW6snDIUc_Hng_WDAs1OEPNbXmNVGYQyokMhCs05YIZPTstQ/s1600/Super+hero.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1451" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWONX1Hv05BGzsgB7-xVMYs6aFbkhVc38lONqwY_CcwG7KuONfoVIU4vuzKRKvgrF7H5kPK4iIluvBs21ga74SvKzuo0CJW6snDIUc_Hng_WDAs1OEPNbXmNVGYQyokMhCs05YIZPTstQ/s640/Super+hero.jpg" width="580" /></a></div>
<br />
For the main panel, I used the TCP Cut Up of Balloon Frame to make the window and adhered that to the main card. I then popped up the image inside the frame. The sentiment was stamped at the top and bottom of the frame and finished the card with a few of the TCP Cut Ups of Stitched Clouds. I really like how this little guy turned out with the exception that I wish I had made his head cover a bit wider. Otherwise, I like it.<br />
<br />
We hope you will be able to join us and play along! Link your project to the <a href="http://thecatspajamasrs.com/blog">TCP Blog</a> and you could have a chance to win! <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Along with this fun blog hop is a new TCPTUES367 challenge! This challenge is about Sharing Hope and we could all use that. The Kitty Cat Pack have put together an awesome hop and some beautiful hope creations. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
For the hop, I made a birthday tag using the new release set of Messy Birthday. I am always using tags for gifts and it is one of my favorite things to create. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjko6xsWln2vBRXRZZN7bHzyadv5ypoMQbUuKV0wRBg1gJ3HmXChOXH_26GiHqxTK80n_0nUUMKBmhmuKgH43E0vAmSAR8uG5alWopJauQD0pkDqNDjGTrPhKUEYb-4qXD-BwpgSW0r3IA/s1600/Messy+birthday+tag.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="948" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjko6xsWln2vBRXRZZN7bHzyadv5ypoMQbUuKV0wRBg1gJ3HmXChOXH_26GiHqxTK80n_0nUUMKBmhmuKgH43E0vAmSAR8uG5alWopJauQD0pkDqNDjGTrPhKUEYb-4qXD-BwpgSW0r3IA/s640/Messy+birthday+tag.jpeg" width="378" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I stamped the image an colored it in with Copics before cutting out the shape using TCP Cut Ups of <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/product/spring-tag-duo/">Spring Tag Duo</a>. I then cut out a piece of patterned paper that would coordinate well and layer the back side with it. I finished the tag with some ribbon and ready for gift giving.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
For the TCPTUES367 challenge, I used the newly released set of Still Life to create this somewhat of a spotlight style card. The sentiment of "Spring it on" speaks to telling the universe to not only bring along Spring, but whatever is thrown your way. You will overcome!! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVP6K1fVcXU32mdWAuUe0mLLVw3PDvUFJu8q4O4Ze8G60_f_M5h3cEo51u2NmqvwTw-JRgwcl0IsNn7dTLbb4K_gMTPA6ns0O1451Ykk5vqExZ8WhWOAyteIiWcOnQ0V40sIvxCKljf24/s1600/Spring+it+on.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1265" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVP6K1fVcXU32mdWAuUe0mLLVw3PDvUFJu8q4O4Ze8G60_f_M5h3cEo51u2NmqvwTw-JRgwcl0IsNn7dTLbb4K_gMTPA6ns0O1451Ykk5vqExZ8WhWOAyteIiWcOnQ0V40sIvxCKljf24/s640/Spring+it+on.jpeg" width="506" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I first stamped the image where I wanted it on the top panel and coloring it with Copics. I layered it on the black and blush colored cardstock. I then used my MISTI to line up that panel to where I wanted the background and being able to pop up the layered colored panel. I finished the card with a few rhinestones which is a little hard to see in the picture.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Thank you so much for hopping in and your next stop is the talented <a href="https://inkedregards.com/handmade-birthday-card-cake">Melissa!</a> </div>

Although, I suppose that really doesn't matter right now, does it? : ) It's like everyday runs into one another and I really have to think what day it is. <br />
You can see there are coordinating Cut Ups to match the numbers. In addition to the numbers, the 'Best Wishes' Cut Ups is new for the month as well and also makes for easy projecting making. For my card, I used some patterned paper from my scrap stash for the background before layering over the Best Wishes die cut out. The numbers were stamped in Memento Ink and cut out with the coordinating dies and popped up. The card was finished adding another sentiment from the new release set of Messy Birthday to pop up below the numbers and some Stickles dotted for some sparkle. Not sure I love that part, but with Stickles, once its on its on. : )<br />

I pictured this cutie running around swirling her wand around that I decided to use the TCP <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/product/flutter-by/">Flutter By </a>die to create her trail of sparkle. The image was colored with Copics and fussy cut out to be popped up. Her crown was colored in with Wink of Stella in gold and topped with some Sakura clear glitter gel pen. I then used that same pen to run across the swirls for a little sparkle. The card was then finished with some pearls and rhinestones and the sentiment stamped directly onto the panel. </div>

I started with a light green cardstock base and off centered my main layer panel. The cake pieces were stamped using different Memento ink colors and layered on top of the cake stand after cutting it out and popping it up. I used the flag instead of candles and finished the card with a few pearls and rhinestones for some sparkle and two different sized ric rack ribbon at the bottom.<br />

<br />
Have you had a chance to play along in the <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/blog/">TCPTUES366</a> challenge? There is still time to join in and upload you creation. The challenge is Furry Animals. Who doesn't love that? Plus the TCP store has plenty of adorable furry friends who would love a home in your crafty stash! ;)<br />
<br />
For my card, I am using the adorable set of <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/product/friends-forever/">Family Forever</a>. This little guy was a perfect model for the challenge and his friend was no exception either.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-U7RhYl3Zt8DhkDu-T9MT5ytHR4xwVwIup44lQdCmqwAzxCqMwck8xp3bv7JFXa9FsOqH8L0FUN7RjuKYlUrqDh2ICas5wWkXIEp1j1ByOK4q6q17eaaJ6bwpAdz2MErYMap7cus6acI/s1600/Hello+Sunshine.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1272" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-U7RhYl3Zt8DhkDu-T9MT5ytHR4xwVwIup44lQdCmqwAzxCqMwck8xp3bv7JFXa9FsOqH8L0FUN7RjuKYlUrqDh2ICas5wWkXIEp1j1ByOK4q6q17eaaJ6bwpAdz2MErYMap7cus6acI/s640/Hello+Sunshine.jpg" width="508" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped the image on a stitched border panel and then masked the bottom area so that I may brush on some color for the ground using the TCP <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/product/big-beautiful-blending-brush/">Big Beautiful Blending Brush</a> . I then used my Copics to color him in before using a washcloth and some colorless blender solution to dab over him to create some fur. I then bushed in the top left corner some yellow ink for the shining sun before stamping the sentiment directly onto the panel. I finished the card by added a few matte enamel drop. The whole panel was then layered over some patterned paper I had in my scrap stash.<br />
<br />
Thank you for stopping by and we hope to see your fabulous creations when you play along in the challenge!Deborah Antonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08947096903660009052noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8695085961086234587.post-22482098935199593152020-02-24T00:00:00.000-05:002020-02-24T00:00:08.388-05:00Lucky Charm - Your Next Stamp February Release Inspiration and Some NewsHappy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend and ready to tackle this next week. As you saw from the title, I do have some news, but I will get to it at the end. First...<br />
<br />
Today is another inspiration day and I am sharing with you a card using the new release set of <a href="http://yournextstamp.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=2177">Lucky Charm</a>. This guy cracks me up and I just love the correction on the sentiment.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAtw0zP89mEIIl0Gn45G8ETyuE5rS7toneuy40LcAxwOVx49qq__g8wl2GcCkLmo_HWikGrT3Lijm5oY8TpdDES_25SX6Yg_jLOwwT07Fwjl3aI5_63saVb0vO3-Tg-ijDAkdm9HrxI1A/s1600/I%2527m+not+Irish.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1383" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAtw0zP89mEIIl0Gn45G8ETyuE5rS7toneuy40LcAxwOVx49qq__g8wl2GcCkLmo_HWikGrT3Lijm5oY8TpdDES_25SX6Yg_jLOwwT07Fwjl3aI5_63saVb0vO3-Tg-ijDAkdm9HrxI1A/s640/I%2527m+not+Irish.jpg" width="552" /></a></div>
<br />
I started with coloring him in with Copics and using some Ranger Tinsel Embossing powder for the hat. Can we talk about this EP for a second? This is NOT my favorite of all embossing powders. It doesn't seem to stick well and find myself having to emboss several times before getting good coverage. When I purchased this over the holidays, I was picturing some fabulous sparkle and glitter. It's quite the opposite. The jar looks like it is full of glitter and when you spread it on, it has a lot of glitter. Then you shake off the excess and you are left with minimal powder. When you heat it, whatever glitter IS on the image gets blown off. It's a shame because how pretty and glittery it could be if it were just formulated differently. I know this picture looks like it is sparkly and you do get some, but it is all about the angle of the picture. : ) I digress... Once the image was colored in and embossed, I used the <a href="http://yournextstamp.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&path=20&product_id=2178">coordinating die</a> to cut him out. I added a little <a href="http://yournextstamp.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=602&search=wink">Wink of Stella</a> to the shamrock for added sparkle. Using some dp, I used the YNS <a href="http://yournextstamp.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1975&search=grass">Grass Tufts die</a> to cut out the edge of the dp and added a little black card stock to the back to break up the paper. I added the sentiment onto the base of the card and popped up the image up. The card was finished with some sparkly YNS <a href="http://yournextstamp.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1820&search=gold">Gold Tinsel Gumdrops</a>.<br />
<br />
And for the news.... I am sad to say that I am stepping down from the Your Next Stamp design team. This is my last card for the month with YNS. It was a very hard decision to make considering that I have been part of Karen's creative family for nearly 8 years!! I don't even know where that time went. I have had such a wonderful time sharing all my creations using the YNS products with you all, but it was time for me to step down and focus on my family. My children will head to college in a little over a year and I would like to spend as much time as I can with them. I have also started a new job almost 6 months ago which has been a new balancing act for the family and I. <span style="color: purple;"><b> Karen, THANK YOU so much for allowing me to be part of your awesome team all these years!</b></span> <span style="color: purple;"><b>XOXO</b></span><br />
<br />
Thank you for stopping by and make it a great one!Deborah Antonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08947096903660009052noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8695085961086234587.post-16761072568837725172020-02-18T00:00:00.000-05:002020-02-18T00:00:09.333-05:00The Cat's Pajamas TCPTUES365 - StencilsHappy Tuesday everyone!<br />
<br />
I hope you all had a nice long weekend and are ready to tackle the rest of the week. And we hope that you include tackling the final week of this <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/blog/">Cat's Pajamas Stamps challenge</a> of Stencils.<br />
<br />
For my card I used the TCP Stenzils of <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/product/skinny-alphabet/">Skinny Alphabet.</a> There are many uses for this fun Stenzil (and many others in the store) to create beautiful decor or paper crafts. If you haven't seen the fun items Alma found in her local dollar store and used some TCP products, check it out <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/love-grows/">here</a>!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm5IyN2Ctl5J8dmqaegJKt5-UCrWJgN2ymJ7Uaj13ecDrEXRN3618ih7eAdnUCle7bREj244MBgmph494rQm2tAfknXA2SBF4q9uwEmuDdqXZRJHzKazV2fSJZnHUr1GVQEoCobSLim3M/s1600/Stencil+love.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1344" data-original-width="1600" height="536" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm5IyN2Ctl5J8dmqaegJKt5-UCrWJgN2ymJ7Uaj13ecDrEXRN3618ih7eAdnUCle7bREj244MBgmph494rQm2tAfknXA2SBF4q9uwEmuDdqXZRJHzKazV2fSJZnHUr1GVQEoCobSLim3M/s640/Stencil+love.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I stenciled the side scrolls using the TCP Stenzils of <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/product/handdrawn-scrolls/">Hand drawn Scrolls</a> and some grey Memento ink. The word 'Love' was stenciled in using Memento ink while 'always' was stamped using the TCP set of <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/product/words-of-love/">Words of Love</a>. <br />
<br />
To see all the other stenciled creations the Cat Pack have made, be sure to check out the <a href="https://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCP/blog/">TCP Blog</a>! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. <br />
There is still time to play along in the <a href="http://yournextstamp.com/blog">YNS Friday challenge</a>! This challenge is creating your own background. <br />
<br />For my card, I did a little water coloring and paired it with the YNS set of <a href="http://yournextstamp.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=2135&search=feather">Fabulous Feathers.</a> I like the serene feel this card gives and all that blue pops.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJtQjGIeGnjekIpcTo54Njv5k4rxswRZJpjoPRxLDwWBGAYKefndH1gxeBA8flpFxfXIuRCKQUikU1Q_wO-hZjpeC6ogc5yxhUvknRD8ZXImh9VZN7V2fqzjMt7XXeZWmdkMmd9KL1XXQ/s1600/Watercolor+feathers.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1303" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJtQjGIeGnjekIpcTo54Njv5k4rxswRZJpjoPRxLDwWBGAYKefndH1gxeBA8flpFxfXIuRCKQUikU1Q_wO-hZjpeC6ogc5yxhUvknRD8ZXImh9VZN7V2fqzjMt7XXeZWmdkMmd9KL1XXQ/s640/Watercolor+feathers.jpg" width="520" /></a></div>
<br />
I used some Strathmore water color paper and used my distress inks to create the background. Once the color was dried, I stamped the feathers and colored those in in using my water color pens and highlighting it with my white gel pen. I then flicked some water droplets onto the card to create the water marks. The sentiments were then stamped onto the panel and finished with some YNS gumdrops and a few rhinestones.<br />
<br />

I used the YNS die of <a href="http://yournextstamp.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1743&search=instalove">Instalove Polaroid</a> to create the frame. The image was stamped with the YNS ink pad in Stone Gray, colored with Copics, and cut out using the coordinating die set. The image was popped up on the inside of the frame while I stamped and and cut out the 'Smile' sentiment to be popped up in the corner. The cheeky monkey sentiment was stamped directly onto the card base and was finished using some <a href="http://yournextstamp.com/shop/index.php?route=product/category&path=17_88">YNS gumdrops.</a><br />

As always, Karen has an awesome sale for you to use as you purchase that wish list.<br />

It's sneaky peek time with <a href="http://yournextstamp.com/">Your Next Stamp</a>! Today is day 2 of sneak peeks, but this release is cuteness overload. This set I am sharing today is one of my favorites. How can you not love it?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This set of Pigs Can Fly has adorable images and even better sentiments. It was hard to choose which to use, but you really can't go wrong with any of them.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used the new release Cloud panel die over some pattered paper of clouds to create the background. The image was stamped, colored, and cut out with the coordinating die set to be popped up over the panel. I heat embossed a strip of cardstock with the sentiment and placed that over the panel as well. The card was finished with some fun Rainbow Sparkle gumdrops.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Karen is giving away each of the sets being previewed. Today, 3 random comments will be selected from the <a href="http://yournextstamp.com/blog">YNS blog</a> or IG and each person will win 1 of 3 sets. All comments must be left by February 12th at midnight and the winners will be announced on 2/13.</div>
